Sewing machine service and repair. Very knowledgeable, helpful. Well staffed. Clean creative environment. Great inventory. These folks are easy to talk to. I drove over two hours to visit this store as I am sure most people do. I won't hesitate to make the trip again. Very lovely experience.

I purchased my Brother sewing machine from Tammy and Chad, and took a basic class on use, and it was Amazing! Great place, great people, exceptional customer service!

My wife and I have been doing business with the sewing center for a while. We take out machines here to get repaired because of the professional appearance and attitude of the owner. We recently had ordered a machine from them and when it arrived and was assembled the owner walked my wife through how to use it. While showing her how to use the machine he noticed it wasn't the right fit for her sewing style. After going through a few other machines my wife found the one that fit her better. It was cheaper than the one we had originally ordered but fit her sewing style better and she was more comfortable with it. This shows that the business is not out to just sell you an expensive piece of equipment. They actually want to make sure you get the right gear for your needs. Would recommend anyone who is serious about sewing to stop in here and take a class and ask the employees for advice. You will get only the best service here.

I went in today looking for a foot for my Janome that I have not been able to find without ordering. Not only did I get the foot checked to be sure it was correct, I got other parts I have considered but wasnt sure about. And I got a little lesson on how to use another foot I already have! It was customer service as it should be and I am so looking forward to visiting again. thank you!

Best selection of fabrics I've ever seen! All the newest lines and choices of yardage or precuts. Very competitive prices. I wish we had a store like this in Sioux Falls. I'll definitely be back!

I debated before posting this, only because in the past The Sewing Center did me right, but I feel this still needs said. I dropped my longarm off on the 30th of September, it needed repaired. I suggested a fuse, because of the way it acted when it quit working. I asked for it to be serviced as well. That day, I was told I would get a call when the repairman was in to look at it, I didn’t. I called the following Friday, and talked to him, he said he hadn’t had a chance to look at it and would get back to me. My business depends on my machine, and I needed an estimate on when it would be finished, so I called back every few days, asking for an estimate on when it would be finished. I left messages that were never answered. On Saturday the October 16th I talked to the repairman again and he promised to look at my machine that Sunday and call me before he left for the day. I received no call. I waited until the following Friday, the 23rd to call, and he was not in. Tuesday the 28th, I called and asked to speak with him, he was out. As I had not had any return calls from messages, I said as much and said I would call back. I called Tuesday afternoon, he refused to speak with me and the woman who answered the phone was very rude. She told me to stop calling, that he would call me back. I told her I needed an estimate on when I would have my machine because I run a business and I was losing orders because I didn’t know when I would have it back. She told me it didn’t work that way and I would have to wait for him to call. The following morning I went and picked up my machine, the repairman had not even touched it, I could tell because I left a small patch of fabric in the needle, and it was still there. That same day I took it to another repair shop in town, and that shop replaced the fuse, serviced the machine, and I was home sewing the same evening. I will never again drop an item at the Sewing Center for repair.
