“I’m so glad I came here for a second opinion. Another shop told me I needed a whole new transmission for a very high price, but this place was honest and gave me a much more affordable option. Instead of pushing a full replacement, he suggested a transmission fluid flush to get more life out of the car and it worked. The shudder is completely gone.
He was kind, upfront, and took the time to explain everything. He even offered advice on future cars and to look over a new one before I purchase. Honest mechanics are hard to find, and this place is one of them. Highly recommend.”

“Great experience. I had an injector failure on the scanner. Rapid Diesel discovered a wiring issue. Injectors are expensive. They fixed the problem very economically. They were honest (when they had an opportunity to take advantage of an out of towner), efficient, and friendly. I’m very glad I chose them.”

“Cannot sing their praises enough. We were 700 miles and two days into a three week road trip and my transmission was overheating. They squeezed me in and ran diagnostics to determine 3rd gear was the issue. The torque converter is not fully disengaging in 3rd gear. I am able to change the way I drive for the rest of the trip and then deal with the repair when back home. Thank you so much”

“I was in the Rapid City area vacationing and believed my transmission was shot. Expecting and prepared for a $3,000 repair bill, I took my truck to Quality Transmission and hoped for the best. Rather than immediately installing a new transmission or rebuilding mine, which was so bad it would not even move the truck in 4WD, they tested the thing, replaced seals just to see if that would take care of it before undertaking a huge rebuilding project. To my benefit, it fixed the truck and it runs great. For less than $400 I was back on the road. They did a great job and I am pleased with their work but most importantly, they could have replaced the transmission but they were looking out for my interest. As an out of state guy on vacation, I would never have expected them to go out of their way to try hard to make my transmission work rather than sell me another. CHARACTER is what these guys showed and I am most grateful. The world still has honest repairmen and I met a couple this week.”
