Any time we call the pharmacy, there is one employee Johanna who is always SO RUDE and inconsiderate over the phone and in person. She is degrading to patients! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! TERRIBLE PHARMACY AND EMPLOYEES!

I called at 2:43 wondering if my son’s script was ready and was told it would be done within the hour. She then asked me for my phone number so I could get a text when the script is ready. Never got a text message. I went up to the counter to ask if the script was ready due to not getting the text message. The fat gal at the front said it’s not ready and rolled her eyes. I told her that I didn’t get a text so that’s why I’m double checking and asked if I could get to first text to sign up for alerts. She continued to roll her eyes and said I should get the text. I told her thank you which she ignored me and said nothing. I came back 45 minutes later to no text and waited in line to be told that there’s only one out of three ready and to give them 10-15 minutes. The drive through gal was nice but the fat one must have heard me and walked over to glare at me. I have a fussy baby with two other kids in the car. I was polite and understanding so lesson learned here, even if you’re kind to the staff, they’ll still treat you like trash.

I must share my absolutely appalling experience at the Walgreens pharmacy on Mount Rushmore Drive in Rapid City on 11/6/2023.My husband, who is currently suffering from severe debilitating low back issues, has been enduring unbearable pain.When we visited this Walgreens location to fill his prescribed medications, we were not only shocked by the exorbitant prices for the medications but also utterly disgusted by the despicable behavior of the pharmacy staff.The pharmacist on duty was not only dismissive but also openly disrespectful- with eye rolls included. Moreover, they insisted that our insurance cards were invalid, which was a blatant lie. They told my husband if he wanted his 2 medications that he'd have to pay $350 for one and over $400 for the other or he could go without.This heartless and callous treatment left my husband in tears and ready to just give up. The incompetence and lack of empathy displayed by the staff at this Walgreens store is nothing short of disgraceful.Thankfully, we sought help elsewhere and visited Safeway pharmacy(also on Mount Rushmore). Not only were the prices reasonable (saved $700), but the staff at Safeway were compassionate, understanding, and genuinely cared about my husband's well-being.No patient- no person should ever have to endure such treatment.I cannot emphasize enough how strongly I discourage anyone from patronizing this Walgreens pharmacy.

Pharmacy sucks. Walgreens pharmacy has now lost me as a customer and I will get my scripts filled elsewhere. Rude staff and constantly getting told “we’ll have it ready in an hour” like it’s convenient to come back in an hour when you’re sick…. What a joke of a place.

If your website says you can get children's medicine through the drive through you should be able. My child was sick and contagious with sores and I had noneone to look after him so I could get him medicine. I had to bring him. They turned me away refusing because they said we don't shop for customers. Pharmacist was a rude woman.

Had an emergency and the pharmacy technician was so helpful and got my prescription ready on a Saturday right before closing and even helped with a coupon! The whole store was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for great service!

For 2 months the service has been terrible not only within their telephone services but mostly at Walgreens on Mnt View and W Main. I've dealt with hr long drive thru lanes, blatant lies about medications and their eta's and complete negligence from the company of Walgreens. My last straw was THE worst customer service from both the pharmacist and a young gal named Brooklyn. I wasn't easy to work with because I have texts messages saying my prescriptions were ready but they weren't even available at that location.... I wasn't easy to work with because I've talked with 3 representatives from Walgreens assuring that their mistakes have been fixed. When I said I would most likely take my business elsewhere, Brooklyn agreed that I should. When I showed the pharmacist the text message saying my prescriptions were ready but they actually weren't, she closed the metal window on me with out an explanation.I've been in customer service my entire life. These days customer service is vital. When Brooklyn tells me that Walgreens doesn't need my business, it is clear she hasn't been trained. When the pharmacist who isn't professionally dressed closes the metal window on me clearly hasn't been trained on how to conduct herself in a tough situation. I hope I never have to deal with the incompetence that Walgreens, as a company, facilitates.

I’ve been in the car line for over an hour now! Cars pull up to the window and sit there for more than 20 minutes!! What in the hell is going on. It’s always VERY SLOW here. I’m going to switch pharmacies, this is insane!

I use chime for banking l, I've made larger deposits in the past but today the rude cashier wouldn't even try, her and her manager today were especially rude when all I'm trying to do is use one of their services I got a Christmas bonus and wanted to deposit it but they would only take $500 today..... last week a different and much more helpful individual and her manager put a little effort into helping me and was able to deposit all the money without an issue but today that's just not possible, not like I don't have anything else to do today

Called to find out if they had a home strep test in stock. Pharmacy told me they can't be bothered to check and sent me to hold for "someone who works in the store" (didn't know the pharmacy didn't "work on the store")... after 14 minutes and 3 re-holds without even seeing if I'd been helped, pharmacy picks back up oblivious and thinking I'm a new call. I remind her what I'm calling about and that I'd rather not be on hold another 10 minutes for nothing... she just says, "Well maybe you should just call another store or go online. I protested. She hung up on me... thanks for helping my sick family Walgreens

Nice Drugstore. Needed sum copies made of old B&W Photos. The Service in the Photo Department was excellent. Very helpful & friendly Staff member. Helped me with every step as it is self service on a scanner. Prints turned out perfectly & at a very reasonable price.

Pharmacy is the worst. My insurance is active and they tell me that it says I’m not covered when I am. Not only that every time I need meds and get them send here they tell me they never get anything from my doctor. Such a pain.

Went today to get Covid vaccine and the flu vaccine! Staff was so anti vax it wasn’t even funny! When I asked questions about the vax all I received was eye rolls and comments!!! The girl that gave me my vaccine was rude, no name tag, do the just let anyone give shots? I’ll never get another vaccine from Walgreens! Such an unprofessional staff!!!
