I've been getting my families meds here for years. Usually very nice. Today, was treated very rudely on the phone. They need to be trained for phone orders. Just because you can't be face to face, you still need to be professional.

Had to take a loved one to the doctor. They were prescribed some meds. Knowing it takes awhile to process everything we waited about two hours before going to Walgreens. Part of the wait time was spent on the opposite side of town getting an e ray and they took their sweet time as per usual with medical professionals. We went thru the drive thru and were informed they had just barely received the prescription and it would take twenty minutes. We drove away found something to eat. Came back and were told the prescription still wasn't ready give them ten minutes. We went to the grocery store and picked up a few items before returning to the Walgreens drive thru. They informed us that they had filled the prescription in a city five hours away and could have it for us the next day or they could fill it where we were in thirty minutes. . We decided to wait the half an hour. We waited fourth five minutes and returned to be told it would take another ten minutes. We went and got some fuel on the car and came back. Finally our prescription was ready. 21 pills in a small bottle totaling less then $4. Half the day wasted, several trips to Walgreens and there was really no explanation, no apologies for wasting half a day. Do yourself a favor and choose somewhere else to have your prescription filled. Complete lack of customer service, lack of competent employees and a waste of time. This entire time someone was in in pain and stuck riding around in a car instead of taking some meds and recovering.

I thought it was just my experience, but looking at other reviews I can only confirm one thing: the drive-thru pharmacy service is AWFUL. This is the second time that I’ve had a bad encounter with the same lady (I didn’t pay attention to her name). Today, I had to pick up a prescription for my baby and she took forever just to tell me they were out of it and I needed to wait until Monday (how can someone tell a parent of a sick baby to wait? Idk) or that I needed to call other pharmacies to see if they had it so they could transfer the prescription to them. I was not satisfied with that cause normally in those cases pharmacies try to give you a solution. They call other pharmacies or something. Anyways, I went to the Mt Rushmore location and they were also out of it BUT the lady was very understanding and called to the Lacrosse location and asked if the medicine was in stock, she gave the other person my son’s order # and told me I could go pick it up from there, it only took her about 2 minutes to do that. It’s a shame because I live on the west side so I always use this location for everything I need, but after today I would probably switch pharmacies. And it’s not about just one costumer, it’s about the reputation that this store will keep getting if things like this keep happening.

Typical mediocre customer service of any pharmacy, but don’t be on a time crunch when you need a prescription filled. They are constantly slammed for prescription requests and take forever.

yep.... good luck with this pharmacy... don't waste your time... simple tasks take forever to complete... call your scripts in, literally, anywhere else.

I went to get a prescription filled since my insurance recently added them to their network. Give them script and card. Come back in 30 minutes and lady said it was rejected. Figured I must have been mistaken. Called insurance and they said not rejected. Pharmacy just needed to call them. They had needed info entered wrong. So we just paid for a script that was to be covered.

If your website says you can get children's medicine through the drive through you should be able. My child was sick and contagious with sores and I had noneone to look after him so I could get him medicine. I had to bring him. They turned me away refusing because corporate says they can't just grab things and have them ready. You have to order through the app. Shocker the app wouldn't work either.

I have never had a problem with the grocery portion of the store. However, tonight I dropped off a much needed Rx in person.I was informed upon dropping off the physical prescription, it would be ready inside one hour. We returned one hour later to pick up the prescription. At which time we found the prescription had not been filled because they had tried to run it through my old employers insurance, so of course it did not work.I did not receive a phone call. No notification that they were not going to fill it.They did however put a rush on it and have it ready within 20 minutes. At the time I paid, I inquired as to why they had not called. The pharmacist said (on my mother I am not lying),"We cannot call everyone here. Unfortunately we are not about customer service here. They (I am assuming he's referring to the corporation... Walgreens) don't care about customer service. They care about how many prescription's we can fill and that's it. Not staffing, not customer service, just how many prescriptions we can fill that's it, its unfortunate."I am still in shock... this was directly from the pharmacist.Walgreens does accept many insurances, coupons, and has some of the lowest prices. Unfortunately, this is why many in this community return to them (whether they'd like to or not).Though I will not be filling there again as, customer service is important to me. Here is what I have learned. If you drop off a prescription, YOU need to ask what insurance they have on file, YOU need to verify your address and phone number, YOU need to request to sign up for text messages. My prescription was not phoned in but, if I were to have one called in I would call in advance and clarify. If these topics are not addressed in advance, they will not request any information from you whatsoever. However if this information is not on file YOU will not get the prescription, as they will assume YOU cannot pay for it. They are here to sell as many prescriptions as possible. If they do not know, in advance, how you will be paying for your prescription, it will not be filled. To those of you who continue to fill there, my heart is with you. Best of luck to you.

Called the pharmacy on Tuesday and the pharmacy tech told me I had no more refills, I questioned it and was berated by them for questioning this, so I called my Dr and they assured me I had one refill left. I called walgreens back on Thursday and the pharmacist answered and told me I indeed did have a third refill left and who I talked to on Tuesday was incorrect and apologized for them. She then stated they were out of my med now so I needed to find somewhere else to fill it. I called back today to see if they had any in stock before my Dr sent it to another pharmacy, and again I was told that I had no script to fill and I explained that I was just told Friday by the pharmacist on duty that it was in fact there and she sighed and hung up the phone on me. Never in my life have I dealt with such incompetent/disrespectful pharmacy staff. I’ll stick to Boyd’s west across the street.

Stay away from the pharmacy at this store they have a girl named Gabby that works there and doesn't know how to do her job or treat customers she needs to be fired immediately! Makes crazy accusations and also demeans people. Also you could be in the drive up for hours before getting service.

This happened today in the drive thru. We waited patiently because the line was long and it seemed like only man was working the window. I had left the surgical hospital just 30 minutes before coming here. The man at the window made me cry, he was so unbelievably rude. He returned absolutely none of the patience we held for him, and yelled at me when I was struggling to remember my address due to anesthesia drugs. He gave us maybe 5 seconds to answer before he would yell “address?!” again, and then told us to “move along”. I finally remembered by correct address and he walked away from the phone without saying anything. When he returned he barked the total at us and asked for payment. We had already sent the card through the tube and he didn’t bother to check. He sent the medication out and didn’t say a word to us. No goodbye, have a nice day, feel better, sorry for being so completely rude! Nothing. It was painful to be spoken to that way while I was in a vulnerable state. This pharmacy needs to do better, and remember that we are here getting meds for a reason. I was in severe post op pain and deserved empathy. I will not be filling my medication here any longer.

Walgreens has become too big for their britches! They seldom can handle customer service in a proper manor, mostly problems with their app. Have had issues before but this time the straw broke the camel's back. And I NEVER knew that when you are calling the local number you are actually getting a call center far away from you. This girl had an attitude from the get go and talked way too fast.

Get my prescriptions here, I tried using their online system and phone system to get a refill. I received 4 emails about my prescription being pushed off for some reason. I finally called and they are like we can have that ready for you tomorrow. Ive been out of my meds for 3 days waiting I put the order in a week in advance. Clearly they don’t check their system.

The pharmacies electronic system is completely broken, you cannot call in a prescription, you cannot refill a prescription even when talking with the pharmacist. This is not the pharmacist fault, but SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE!!! I tried to talk with the store manager but by the time she was done ripping old tags off of shelves and got to the front of the store there was a line of people. She completely ignored me and started helping customers, I don't blame her for that but at the same time she was not called to the front to help customers. This Pharmacy's system needs to be fixed as the electronical errors have almost cost me my life because of my seizures. I will continue to try and get ahold of somebody competent enough to get me the phone number for either HR or tech systems support. Do better Walgreens Corporate, people's lives do actually depend on you!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, the pharmacy I usually use, (Walmart- & they are AMAZING), did not have my prescription in stock. After already waiting 4 days for my medication I resorted to having Walgreens fill it. I called ahead of time to find out if they had it in stock, they did. So I go to drop off my script and I'm told that it'll be ready THE NEXT DAY. I've already gone 4 days without it and was told there was no way to pick it up today. Shortly after I get a text telling me that it's out of stock. So much for calling ahead of time to confirm that they have it in stock. They show no compassion or concern. They're tone is always short and rude. I'd never recommend this pharmacy to anybody.
