What a great 2 night stay we had! The General Manager, Christina Busch, went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional.Rooms: Spotlessly clean, spacious, everything you need. A very quiet, cozy, complete experience.

I live on the road so I like extended stay hotels with kitchens and such. To put it bluntly, while not terrible Candlewoods are usually not at the top of the list for these kind of places. But this place here? It was one of the nicest, cleanest suite hotels I've ever stayed at. The staff were all very professional and friendly, the rooms are well insulated (I was on the other side of the wall from an elevator and never heard anything unless someone was talking literally right outside my door) and everything was working and looked new. Definitely staying here any time I'm in the area.

Beautiful hotel but the manager is RUDE, INCONSIDERATE, & talks to you like your INCOMPETENT! They was charging my card four nights straight & didn’t have it in their system! I felt as if they was trying to rob me! I was paid up & yet charged different prices! One night 700.24 the next 1,219.34 the next 834.10 & after talking to more than four employees nobody saw the system attempting to charge my every morning at 3:18a.m if I wasn’t at work and able to decline some charges numerous times I woudve been screwed!!! BIG TIME! The manager once banging on my door told me what her employees said didn’t matter she TOPS them all I knew right then she didn’t respect her employees who clocked in everyday while she was out with her sick husband that she didn’t have no respect for me & my time neither I wouldn’t go back to this location if she’s in charge I’ve have several co workers have the same issue at this location past employees and new employees one just yesterday also I moved out yesterday morning before seven in the morning why did they run my card for weekly price that I again declined I have proof of all the charges I had to decline black n white don’t lie also might I add I work overnight sixteen hours a day nursing people back to health she harassed me about charges I was half sleep no clothes on she still wanted me to come down stairs she tried to enter my room with a key while i was sleep scared me to death about charges that was paid for didn’t even say she was sorry I had to ask her to slow down because I was still half sleep she didn’t careRooms: Clean

Newly renovated. Staff was great at all times, thanks Greg and Gerry at thr front desk, Leonetta (Sp?) in house keeping to name a few. Sorry I am not able to remember everyone, but all front desk staff are standouts. And the housekeeper that cleaned on Tuesdays. Top notch! Best best to stay if you are a traveler RN or just need a quiet comfortable place to sleep.

They have great rooms with a stove and fridge. The fridge even had an icemaker. Warning, there is no free breakfast. I hate the free breakfast at most hotels, but I know many people love it. Would totally stay at this place again.

Stayed at the Sioux Falls Candlewood Suites for 2 nights. Very quiet, very clean and staff was friendly. Our room was very clean and everything worked. You know how you get a room sometimes and some things dont work in the room? Everything was great in this room. Love the mini kitchen!! The ONLY thing wrong was the couch creaks when you sit on it. Otherwise excellent!!

I booked a room months ago for a wedding my husband and I were attending in October. They charged us for the stay in September and I was told that it was an error in there system so they refunded the money and rebooked us in October. Unfortunately 2 weeks before the wedding we had to cancel and I was told I wouldn't get charged. But in fact we did get charged the weekend of the wedding. I spoke with the manager Christina who was incredibly rude, raised her voice at me and when I asked her to please explain why I couldn't get a refund she hung up on me. Eventually after many phone calls I did get promised a refund but the manager Christina stated I could never book a room with them again because I had cancelled 2 stays in row with them, which isn't even the case but that will not be a problem because with a manager like Christina I would never want to stay in this establishment

This location is just another example of why Candlewood Suites is always my 1st choice! Top-notch for cleanliness, accommodation, and service. Kaila is especially friendly and courteous. You don't have to think twice about staying here. And it's definitely worth joining the rewards program.

This hotel has pet hair EVERYWHERE and smells terrible. All of the sheets, even new ones have pet hair. Both rooms I got on the third floor smelled so bad I couldn’t sleep. My son has allergies to cats and was itching as soon as we checked in. The lady working told us no cats were allowed, yet we spotted one In the window of someone’s room the next day. The smell from the vents is a mix of unclean cat and dog odors. I was also told the second room I was checked into was just deep cleaned but the sheets smelled bad and the shower was not clean. I booked this hotel mainly for a the cleanliness score I saw. The cleanliness reviews are not true in my opinion though. I’ve stayed at 6 different hotels in Sioux Falls over the Summer and this was by far the dirtiest, lowest end with the least amenities. It wasn’t just my two rooms that were not clean as another guest I met in the hallway going to buy Lysol wipes because she said her room didn’t appear clean and another gentleman on my floor was having a sneezing fit complaining about not being able to breathe in his hotel room. The morning manager said it’s pet friendly and the Hairs/smells are probably coming from the unclean vents, gross. Most hotels are pet friendly, pet friendly shouldn’t mean Stinky, dirty sheets and covered in hairs. I spent $1,000 to stay in this filth for a week. I’m awake writing this in the middle of the night bc the smell from the ac vents/sheets and itchiness this Place gives me. Don’t make the same mistake! ( see picture of cat in window from the “no cats in here” hotel that doesn’t care if people are allergic).

This was overall actually a pretty good hotel, but with major caveats that make it a place I probably wouldn't return to. My partner and I stayed 10 nights. The good:-Clean rooms-Respectful housekeeping-Great lighting (take notes, Marriott)-Good kitchens and bathrooms-Excellent soundproofing (dual sliding windows with seals, memory foam padding under the carpets, heavy room doors with good sweeps)-Decent and stable internet-Free laundry with the fitness room attached, with high quality washers and dryers-Super high pressure in the showers (almost too high)-And with lots of nearby options for grocery deliveryThe bad:-Very unpleasant lobby atmosphere, consistently throughout our entire stay. Always a TV on, playing loudly, and not being watched by anyone but the staff behind the front desk. It was never something pleasant like Animal Planet or anything like that - but anything from news broadcasts to violent movies. One night, we went down to get extra towels at about 2AM. The lady tending the front desk was eating popcorn and watching a violent movie, loudly. Gunshots could be heard all the way from the end of the hall. She said not a single word to us, as we obviously interrupted her movie night. She hurried to get our towels, and got back to her movie. Wildly unprofessional, and so unpleasant. Since the laundry room is right next to the lobby, we literally wore noise cancelling headphones just to traverse the hotel to do our laundry.-That leads to my next point of just generally unprofessional and unpleasant staff. Not all of them - there were at least a couple front desk staff members who were professional and pleasant. I don't know their names. But for the majority of our stay, we had people tending the front desk who honestly didn't seem to care about the well-being of the hotel, or its guests, much at all. They seemed far more suited to be tending the counter at a convenience store. We switched rooms at one point, due to a failing appliance, and when I went down to collect my new keys, the lady at the desk was assisting another guest. She shouted at me several times, from across the lobby, not by my name, but by my room number. That's Professionalism 101. At one point, while doing laundry, a staff member (the popcorn and movie lady) entered the laundry room, and asked for my partner's name and room number. No "hello" or any other form of a greeting, just entering and abruptly demanding credentials. Just so unprofessional and unpleasant. Who hired these people?-This hotel has a grand total of TWO luggage carts. 80 guest rooms - 2 luggage carts. Not only that, but there is also a grand total of ONE ramp, to get those luggage carts from the parking lot into the hotel. One ramp on the side with the main entrance. Not a single other entry point for luggage carts. This is what they're calling an extended stay hotel.I wouldn't recommend this place in the slightest. They pretty much ruined it with their staff, and the disgusting lobby atmosphere. It otherwise has the potential to be quite a nice hotel - but, again: it isn't.

Stayed in the two bedroom suite bedroom air was broken maintenance man was out for the entirety of our stay front desk provided a fan that was hardly sufficient in 90+ weather I would expect to atleast have air conditioning for $160 a night
