Had an appointment with Michael McDonnell. Just so unpleasant. Barely spoke to us. Shook his head the few time he did ask us questions. Literally had us google some things for him. The other employees were kind and explained each thing to their clients. He didn’t explain a single thing. Just there for a paycheck. This was just such an awful experience.

The experience with Carol at this location was extremely undermining and belittling. As a first time filer I was recommended to this location. Upon arrival I sat in the lobby for an extra 10-15 minutes past the scheduled appointment. I watched carol attend other clients over the phone and there was no receptionist until after I was seated with carol. It was truly a terrible experience overall. I cannot speak for every employee at this location but the one on one interaction with carol ended up with me walking out. She laughed at me for not understanding certain things with filing as I said I used google as a source of information prior. Because I was a first time filer my mother had helped me prior through TurboTax as well but wanted a second opinion with H&R Block to make sure everything was done correctly! After explaining this to carol she began to say anyone who helped file my mother and herself included were uneducated and not trained professionals therefore were wrong. I really just felt as if I was to feel ashamed and because I was new to filing taxes I felt very belittled by the situation. If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would! Maybe try a different location as this staff appears to be lazy and condescending. Especially for first time filers or younger people like me!

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Mike did my taxes wrong!! Thankfully I have some knowledge as to how taxes are done. Got them done else where. Absolutely horrible.

No point in making a appointment for a time when you get there and you are the only one in the building and you are told you have to wait so you sit 20 minutes past your time with no help. Was easier for me to leave .
