Stood at the paint counter while 2 employees talked, never once acknowledging that I was standing there with a color card wanting to buy paint. I finally left my color card lay on the counter and drove over to Lowe’s. In and out with my paint in less time than I stood at the Menards counter.
Lesson learned.

First issue I have is that they keep the posting out that the items are on sale, only to be rung up at the counter. Told the item is no longer on sale even though the price on the floor is still marked like it is.
Then to be aggressively told that I need to go up to customer service and they will be waiting for you.
No thank you, cannot begin to express how rude I was treated simply for asking why they still had the sale price up even if the sale was done.
Wouldn’t recommend sending anyone elderly, female, or shy person here because they will belittle you before the offer help.

Parking spaces are way close together. Door bangers and people park across the line because there's no room.

Craig, your staff are afraid to leave their post to help a customer. When staff see customers coming, they dodge and ignore, even after I smiled and waved for some assistance. The paint guy tonight was indifferent about his products being mis-stocked and price did not match. The guy back in siding sent me away, while he was on his computer no one at all was back there. The only reason I wasnt at Nyberg was they were closed. I don't even mind that, because they had less staff on then you did but as soon as we were in the store we were greeted by a host who helped us find exactly what we wanted and we were in and out in a jiff. I was at Menard's west in Sioux Falls three days in a row and strike three. I will wait for Nyberg's to open next time... good grief ?

I would like a shout out to Carson that works at this location. He helped us out and was very knowledgeable about what we were needing. He made our day. Thanks Carson. Your a smart young kid and give him a raise menards. He deserves it.

This place is like the Dollar Store Version of Home Depot. The guy at the Rental Department doesn't know what he's talking about either. Their website advertises Rug Doctor® Carpet Blower 24-Hour Base Rental on their website and when I inquired about renting some, he told me that they were carpet cleaners and not air movers. Talk about "shooting from the hip." He also told me that they were 4-hour rates with additional fees per hour after the 4th hour which (again) is not how that product is advertised. They also don't let you reserve tools which is absurd. This place is ridiculous and run by a bunch of rednecks.

Do not order online. The charge will go through your account, but when you get to the store they will tell you there is no record of your order, and that they can't give you what you purchased, or your money back since it was an online order.

I honestly shop at this store almost every day. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say there are days where I come back 3 or 4 times. I must spend about $100k a year here. Its really a business partner more than a store. I couldn't run my business the way I do (the way I like to) without their pricing and selection.

Everything here is overpriced. They Don't do anything for Veterans. Their big deal is rebates. I bought a toilet with the "rebate" which I never received in over a year. I wanted to buy 2 recliners with the rebate offer. Told the guy I was afraid to go through it again.
