Prices are outrageous now! The last couple weeks, prices increased 40% on almost everything, thats not a typo. Family shredded cheese 2lb, was $9.99 store brand, new store brand $14.99! a bag of regular chips is over $7. Nothing is on sale anymore either.
Owner: I was just there this morning and spoke to your employees, they are hearing this from a lot of people this last week they are now forced to go to Safeway or Walmart now after you bought out this beloved grocery store.
I can publicly show more examples of the exorbitant prices if you like. I went to dollar general next door to buy my milk for 3.37 when you were charging $6.85. This same milk was reliably 2.99 just 2 weeks ago! Your eggs are still over $8/dozen when they are down in Safeway, Walmart, everywhere else.

me and my friends went in to get snacks before hiking and the lady Steph at the gas station counter told one of our friends to leave their stuff at the counter or the cops would be there in 5 minutes all because me and my friend had already paid and our other friend was still shopping, I have gone their 3 times a week since 2011 when I moved here and have never felt more discriminated over us waiting for our other friends to pay before leaving.

I loved Haggars. Their prices were pretty reasonable and they had good sales. They also had great quality meat. Since Lynn’s bought it I rarely go there because the prices are outrageous. It’s like shopping at a convenience store! If I just need a gallon of milk I go to Dollar General. One gallon of 2% milk is 75 cents cheaper!

Very convenient location for us. However, most of the produce molds within 2 days, becoming less convenient for us especially when prices are higher than shopping 20 min away

Clean store, friendly staff. Since bought out by Lynn’s Dakotamart the prices are extremely high. If they would’ve kept Haggars prices I’d give them 5 stars. Luckily I live in the area of town where Walmart + delivers & have utilized my membership more.

I was in Summerset,ND, back in August. I was so impressed with the genuinely happy employees and customer service that I wanted to leave a review. Amy wrote all the names on the back of my receipt. However, I misplaced it somehow. I was THRILLED to find it yesterday! I'm a little confused about whether Haggars and Lynn's Dakotamart are the same. Either way....It's simple.... happy employees breed happy customers & unhappy employees make for unhappy customers. Employers can't expect their team members to take excellent care of their customers if they are unable to create a fun, welcoming, memorable and working environment for their employees. If you want exceptional, you can't have subpar work. They're definitely doing something right in Summerset. Thank you for making myself and my coworkers feel right at home. Stay FABULOUS, Amy, Ariel, Stephanie, Vera, Dave, and Desirae!!

Everyone is always very friendly and cheerful. Prices might be a touch high, but this is, after all, a convenience grocery store. You won't find everything that you will in a Safeway but you Will find your basics and other necessities. When you're in a hurry and need some items fast, Haggar's is your best bet. Plus you can get your gas at the same time.

This is the best grocery store in the Rapid City area. We ALWAYS stop here every time we are out west on 90.Its not the biggest, but from a value perspective this place is gold plated.Very clean. Family Fare and Safeway need to come here and take notes.Every time i have been here it has been properly stocked.The employees are actually nice and in general have a happy and positive disposition. Other grocery stores in the area all seem to have crabby employees that seem to hate their job.

I can't believe anyone shops there currently. Unless you only need one or two items or just for convenience. Talk about price gouging. $5.00 for a can of soup? Yet right next door at the Dollar General it's two for $4.00. I could go on and on with price comparisons.
