I was so hopeful that our visit would go well today, and unfortunately, I was wrong. We came to visit a 2016 Ford Explorer that was previously family-owned. We made a two-hour trip to see what we thought would have been an outstanding deal. Here’s what should have been disclosed when we had asked if there were issues with this vehicle:1. Before driving the vehicle off the lot, I opened the glove box to access the vehicle manual so that we could learn how to operate the climate system. As the system was stuck on “defrost” and “feet”, you could only adjust the temperature. Visited the cargurus website where we learned this is potentially a 500 dollars fix (possibly an issue with the actuator motor/blend door, a common issue with these models) not to mention that the glove box was very loose and came detached2. Upon driving highway speeds, we noticed a significant wobble in the rear right wheel, also, there was no TPMS (tire pressure) sensor in either of the passenger side tires.3. We are a family of mechanics, and always come prepared with a code reader. It was clear that codes were dismissed before we had stepped in, as these are all items that a computer from 2016 should pick up on. —When we ran codes everything looked mechanically sound.4. We parked at a local gas station to inspect the seat mechanics, hatchback, etc. it was here when we noticed that both motors in the automatic stowaway (3rd row) had white dog hair embedded, and did not work as promised. The motors seemed over used, and there was a clicking sound, indicating that someone may have forced the seats and broke them. They did not work as intended, so we did not force it.6. The heated seats worked after roughly 10 minutes, and the heated steering wheel was not present, despite being turned on. Cooled seats did not work at all.7. The rear hatch did not open without prompt from the drivers side- but this could have been user error. We were told there were “no known issues”, but in this case it would have been much easier to have been forthright. We have now spent roughly 100 dollars in gas, along with the wasted time of us and the sales associate who helped us, Freddy. The mats inside the vehicle said “please let us know how we can improve your experience”, and so this is me issuing that feedback.I do hope your team improves the overall customer experience here, Fred was an excellent associate but did not meet the standard he advertised on Facebook marketplaceThe good:-Freddy was an excellent rep, very friendly.-They seemed negotiable on the price-The vehicle was extremely clean, and smelled nice (other than the dog hair)-We did not feel at all pressured in any way to purchase-We were welcomed, and even had the opportunity to visit after hours as he knew we would be traveling after work.- - - - -*****Full disclosure, we are not professionals and do not wish for this review to sway the opinion of any potential buyer. In the same breath; it is imperative to be transparent when selling vehicles. Our discretion and intuition told us not to purchase here, and so, your experience may be very different than ours. We are sad to know that the beautiful vehicle we were excited to purchase will not come home with us, but if the team would like to further negotiate the price, we are very open to further discussion.

I recently visited this establishment with my cousin to seek assistance with a vehicle she just recently purchased from C&L automotive. No more than a month after the original sale of purchase, many issues with the automotive started to surface. When we returned to the establishment to create a solution. We were rudely turned away by the one of the owners, stating the initial purchase had already been completed. The assistance or lack thereof was disappointing and not up to par. My cousin is a single mother and has two children under the age of four to take care of. It is clear that C&L automotive does not care for their costumers and are only in this business to make a quick buck. I would highly recommend my fellow citizens to take their business elsewhere.

C&L Auto Sales has a wide variety of really nice vehicles! Mike the owner helped me find the perfect vehicle for me and in my price range. It's was the best experience buying a car I've ever had. He was honest, professional, helpful, friendly, very knowledgeable of all the vehicle on his lot. The vehicles are all detail, great running. He also never pressured me into a car, it was very fun and no hassles and I will buy from him again. Told all my friends and family about my great experience!

I would rather ride a bike for the rest of my life than purchase a vehicle through this dealer.. I'm now out 2,000$ having to pay a mechanic to repair this vehicles. Do not buy vehicles from this dealer unless your paying 50% less than asking price. After driving less than 100 miles from the dealership my check engine light has come on and the car doesn't run right. The dealer doesn't want to take responsibility for a broken car they sold. So now I'm having to pay a mechanic out of pocket to find and fix the issue.
