A female friend scheduled an appointment weeks ahead, only to have the guy cancel on her. He requested her to reschedule, she did, only to have him cancel again a couple of days before appointment. Filed a verbal complaint with Walmart store director with my female friend. I believe my friend was discriminated against and have appointment with attorney this week.

Before the change in owners (my understanding), I had come for years and ALWAYS had a good experience. This last time was a nightmare. It took about 1.5 hours for a cut w 2 inches and zero layers. The stylist insisted on doing a weird cutting “technique” after the initial cut but didn’t actually cut anything; it was a weird show. The cut itself was good (how do you screw up a blunt cut). The shampoo was terrible (didn’t get my hair clean at all). The styling was worse. There were no brushes in the entire salon so the stylist ended up using a comb after spending 30 min looking for a brush (I would have just left but I had wet hair and was freezing). Furthermore, the stylist ended up using about 3 cups of mouse so my hair was both oily and frizzy (and dirty because it wasn’t properly washed) at the same time. Bad experience.Services: Blowouts

Visited the vermillion location and was able to walk in. I've tried 4 times to get into the yankton location but they don't have enough help and even though it says walkins welcomed on the door. Drive to vermillion!!!!!

Showed up on a friday..said they were booked nothing booked for tomorrow. Did shopping and still no customers. Came back Saturday. Person just sitting there. Asked about hair cut. She said she doesn't cut hair she was just in to schedule appointments and sell shampoo.

I have gone 4 different times and even made an appointment for them to cancel it. Your located in a collage town why wouldn't you want to have stylist on site. I feel bad for the the lady at the front desk who has to turn the the people away. I guess i will have to go somewhere else.

I gave a 2 because the waxing was done. But the beautician left stuff all over my face and let me walk out like that!!!! I have pictures it is just ridiculous!!!!!!Service: Body waxing

Tried these guys in Aug 2022 and again in June 2023. If you are a professional and need a basic cut then go somewhere else. Don’t come here bc the other option was to wait a week for another place. Both times the people seemed like they had ZERO experience or common sense. The barbers are timid bc they don’t know what they are doing and can’t do a basic job. She couldn’t match left and right side sideburn.

I've gone to three different ones trying to get a trim and they say they are booked for the day. The last one the girl was sitting reading a book. Rediculous!

My grandma came in the other day to get her hair cut and a perm and when she came to visit us the next day, we noticed her hair was botched. She was so upset with her haircut so we called the manager and let her know what happened and that she would really like a refund. Not only that but she was also overcharged. My grandma and I came in to speak with the manager the day after we got off the phone and the women who cut her hair came around the corner and started to belittle my 82 year old grandma and tried to defend her whack job of a hair cut. I'm glad I came along with my grandma or else she would have been bullied. Super unprofessional of this I'll mannered stylist(Jennifer) and the manager(Jasmine) for letting their staff member treat my grandma like that.

Never been there
