I needed a new propane regulator for my generator, but my generator has an unusual quick connect fitting. I wish I’d gotten the gentleman’s name. The employee I asked for help finding their regulators ended up spending an hour helping me brainstorm, pick barbed fittings and hose clamps, and helping me cut up the old and new hoses to splice together a hose with a new regulator and the old quick connect.

Ace Hardware in Wall South Dakota was extremely helpful. My husband and I were on our way to Wyoming for our honeymoon when we blew an intercooler boot. None of the surrounding automotive parts stores had the part we needed nor a helpful attitude. We found ourselves at ace hardware fashioning a part to limp us to Rapid City. We both greatly appreciated the help from the employees at Ace and the kind smiles. Great place!
