We were browsing shirts as I loved the styles they carried. I let the lady (whom I'm sure was the owner) know that I was there as a child with my parents. I lost my dad and this road trip through South Dakota was to honor him and the memories I had as a child. I stuck a chord with this women and we connected over the loss of our Father's.What she did next, is between her and myself, which I had to call my mom and share with her the kindness and warmth of this woman has me truly verklempt.When we got back to the hotel, I busted into tears. Tears of sadness for her loss and mine but also tears of gratitude.I know for a fact, her father was and still is so proud of what he helped to create.When we lose someone, the love that they had for us and vise versa never goes away. It stays within us to give to others.Thank you for your kindness and generosity.”
