I went to the Alcoa Tenn AT&T store last night to have my previously lost cellphone reactivated. It was very close (about 15 minutes) to their closing time so I was afraid that they would ask us to come back another time. They had 3 associates working and all 3 were busy working with other customers. Within a few minutes one of them was finished and immediately approached us to see what she could do for us. We explained that I had lost my phone for a few months and had been using an older IPhone in the meantime and wanted to reactivate my lost phone. She was very knowledgeable, patient and courteous. She only had a couple of questions and within MINUTES she had my phone reactivated and working as good as new!!! I was so very happy. She did NOT pressure me to buy any accessories or increase/change my plan or anything. But more impressive to me was that she did not charge me ANYTHING for the transaction!! I was very happy with the service ~ she made me feel so comfortable that I will not hesitate to refer any friends or family to AT&T in the future!! Jan S ~ Maryville, Tennessee.

The people in the store are nice, and they do try to be helpful but there is so much we they can’t do in the store. You have to call the 800 number for EVERYTHING. It sucks. I want to do things in person.

I am having a problem with my gallery and photo files. The rep told me what he thought I needed to do and so I went out to my car and it still didn't work. I went back in and he looked at the phone again told me it was fixed but when I tried to delete photos or take photo/ download to be sent to the indicated file it still did not work. I guess I will take my phone to knoxville where hopefully someone will actually listen and help.

Rude customer service and unhelpful.I received my new ATT SIM card, on the website it showed my status as active but I could not make calls, text etc even when service bar is full.Store staff told me there’s nothing they could do, gave me the wrong customer service number and tried to deceive me into making more purchase. While the issue is unresolved the staff just left, sat around and chatted with others about dinner and weekend plans rather than trying to help. Not only did they ignored me for the next 30 minutes, when I reached out again all I got was a rude shoulder shrug. I’m still unable to use the line or get my $300 refund.Is ATT always atrocious like this or am I being discriminated against?

The worst costumer service you will ever experience in your life. Sales rep was useless. Opened my internet and mobile account under 2 different names resulting in not receiving discounts. The price I was told was not even close to what I'm paying. Trying to merge the accounts is a nightmare. I've spent hrs on the phone and I get transfered around until they hang up on me. Most of the agents you cannot understand their english is soo poor. A start to finish disaster. Avoid if possible.

They'll sell you a phone,take your promotion turn in old phone. , but the service is horrible. If you have a problem with a phone they will not help you , call service even worse. I do not recommend this business whatsoever AT&T or a bunch of A- holes.

The cel service here in Maryville and East Tennessee is atrocious. It's definitely in the lowest tier if you're looking for good signal. The customer service is poor and when tasked with even the littlest assistance they are unable to reach the most basic of customer needs. I would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Went in to accomplish a couple of things.1) cancel a line on my account. I was told they couldn’t do it. I needed to call a 1-800 number.2) add a temp international plan for an upcoming vacation . - he said “ he’s having trouble adding it to my plan and was unable .3) upgrade - was told since I have a firstnet account I couldn’t use an upgrade from my other line .
