THE RENTAL CAR LOST 100% OF BRAKES. WE WERE ABLE TO GET IT STOPPED. WE COULD HAVE DIED ON THE NJ TURNPIKE!!!WE WERE 30 MINUTES FROM DESTINATION AND IT TOOK US 6 HOURS TO GET IT SORTED! NIGHTMARE.Oh did I mention the tow costed us 250.00We will see if they make good on this.

I was rented a vahicle with existing (hidden) damage and a tire with a nail in it. the tire went flat within 20 min of leaving the airport. I was advised by Roaside Assistance that i would be charged up to $200 in additional fees to swap out the vehicle.

I recently rented a car from Avis and I must say, the experience was made exceptionally pleasant and smooth thanks to two outstanding agents, Rebecca and Preston. I have been with Avis for years now and I have to say those two agents were big part of the reason as they are representing the standard of excellent customer service.Preston was helpful as always. I saw him at the counter near the package claim so I went ahead and said hi. He greeted me with professionalism and a warm, welcoming attitude that immediately put me at ease. Then he told me the car was ready and called the booth to make sure of that. His friendly demeanor and willingness to go above and beyond was truly commendable, and it's rare to encounter someone so dedicated and enthusiastic about their job.Then, I arrived at the booth in the parking garage, and met Rebecca. She was incredibly knowledgeable and efficient. She walked me through the rental process with ease, ensuring that all my questions were answered thoroughly. After greeting me, she switched me to a car that better suits my needs and made sure that the car I received was in top-notch condition. The entire process took less than 5 minutes. Her attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction.Together, Preston and Rebecca formed a fantastic team. Their combined efforts not only made the rental process seamless but also left a lasting impression of what excellent customer service looks like. It's clear that they both are valuable assets to the Avis team, and they deserve every recognition for their hard work and dedication.Thank you, Rebecca and Preston, for making my car rental experience and my trip back to Knoxville not just a transaction, but a genuinely pleasant part of my trip. Just got a letter on my mail saying I damaged the tire. Dashboard warning light came up a couple of miles after I left the airport.First thing I did was to stop on a gas station and fill the tire with air. That warning light never came on again. When I arrived to drop off the car, nobody walked around the car to inspect. I looked around the car briefly and everything was fine, then I get a extra charge by mail ? I did inquire about this via email and their response is just a insult to me.Been using AVIS in Europe and USA, never again !

Worst service ever. Apparently they can't clean the inside of vehicles when it's cold out or even top off the fluids.

Huge line with insufficient staff. Everything moved at a snails pace due to obvious staffing issues. They were averaging about one customer every ten minutes.

I rented an all-wheel-drive car in Tennessee doing a snow storm from Avis and the car was provided with worn down tires, water in the windshield sprinkler washing system that froze and no snow and ice scraper. Disappointed that I was not provided at more adequate car for the conditions that was surrounding Knoxville Tennessee since when I booked the car, I asked for Ricardo was going to be able to handle the snow

Received a dirty and damaged rental car. Called Avis customer service and was told to discuss when returned. I told return agent and he said nothing that he could do.

Customer service was excellent but the car was not cleaned. The windshield washer fluid was empty or frozen resulting in unsafe conditions as this was during a snow event and I was unable to clean the windshield of road salt and moisture. Very frustrating for a 500 mile drive.
