There was only 1 check out cashier. Had to wait nearly 30 minutes after asking 2 employees who walked by for help since there was a long line. Was told there were lots of self check outs open. I don't do self check out. Did speak to the manager. She was very nice but more excuses. Please have more lines open when the check out volume goes up!

I was just there 4-18-2025, I used self check out but questioned why the digital coupons weren't working. Skylar came right over to help, he said there were some issues but quickly helped me with the app to clip the coupons. Then he showed me how to scan the barcodes in the app before checking out. Such a pleasant and helpful young man. Surely don't see that much these days. He should be commended on his customer service. Thank you Skylar!

What a frustrating experience and not the first time. Went at 8:30 this morning. The store was not very busy and picked up my 12 items and headed to checkout. 1 cashier lane open with 8 people in line. Self checkout was at least 12 people. Three female employees strolled, I mean strolled by in no big hurry to work or in any panic that we were all waiting. Saw three more chatting up front while we all stood in line. Nobody acknowledged us or said a word as they sauntered by. Everyone in line was frustrated. Stood in line for 20 minutes without moving and for the first time in my 55 year life I walked out of a grocery store. How can a manager have only one lane open with at least 6 employees doing nothing at 8:00 am in a grocery store? The other Kroger in town and the one in South Knoxville has never been like this one. I use the South Knoxville pharmacy for this exact reason even though this one is closer. I would use this one as my main because I use Rural King and Home Depot nearby so often. This is the world we live in where people just collect a paycheck and don’t feel they should work hard for it. Just sad. I hope this wakes a GM up.

Told no limit on a coupon, then told limit of 5 by other employee. Since we only got 2, asked if we get 3 more, would sale price ring up & told it should, but if it didn't they would override & give us sale price on 3 more. Different employee then overrode that & said too bad; can only use that coupon once & wouldn't honor previous employees offer to make things right. Terrible customer service is why we stopped shopping at Kroger stores & are no longer Boost members. Hideous behavior to customers.

I find it disturbing when a cashier licks their finger and then wants to count your money back to you. Ron at customer service.

Still low on lot of food
I shopped at the market place one. Did not have rye bread so I went to the one on halls road. They had a lot of rye bread. I think people forgot a lot of people buy on orders. Then pick up. People are nice at both places.
