The wait to rent a car at TYS airport was nearly 2 hours. It was absolutely ridiculous. The line was relatively long but the real problem was gross inefficiency. They took far too long with each customer, didn’t have enough employees, and some that were there just stood around and watched. I would try any other company first next time. Avoid like the plague.Once I finally had the car, the rest was fine.

Do yourself a favor and book with another company. We waited over an hour in line to pick up the car we had a reservation for. Terribly understaffed and no sense of urgency.

Pre paid an amount. Didn't have my vehicle when I came to pick up and was told I had a free upgrade. After I denied all the extra insurance and coverage stuff I was still charged for all of these extra fees when i dropped off. The upgrade was not free. I clearly told the guy I couldn't pay a cent more than what I pre-paid for. I ended up being charged triple than what I pre-paid for. 0/10 would use again.

Lorena wouldn’t let us speak to a manager she specifically stated we shouldn’t bother the manager. Worst customer service I’ve experienced in my life. She told me to put my index finger in front of my mouth and shut up. We went right over to enterprise and got the best service. If you have options Payless should be your last resort!

This was the worst experience I have ever had With renting a car. I chose to not listen to the reviews that were written previously and I wish I had because the whole experience was awful. They gave us a price for the rental and when we went to get the car they added about $230 of extra fees which was insurance that was required that we pay or we could not rent the car. They were very shady as well. We rented from the location in San Juan Puerto Rico. Do not rent from here. The location was also away from the airport and we arrived late at night and the instructions said there is a shuttle from the airport to the rental car facility however after searching for the shuttle we were unable to find it so we had to pay for an Uber during a surge time to make it in time to the building before it closed. Also when we returned the car very early in the morning the shuttle was not running either.

We had no issues from start to finish with our rental from Payless and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I had rented a vehicle from Payless at Knoxville Airport on 01 June 2022. The agreed upon amount of the rental was $ 115.0. The debited amount from my card was $258.0.I had returned the vehicle on 02 June 2022 within 24 hours of renting it, after topping it with full fuel. However, During the check in process at the airport, the Payless staff who checked in my vehicle may not have typed in the details of fuel correctly, as it was just his second day at work.The company now refuses to refund my balance amount stating that the car was not refuelled before returning.I will be taking this matter up further with Payless and hope that they refund the balance amount which they have unfairly blocked.

No option to speak with an agent at the desk at the airport when you call the listed number. Eventually took me to a rental agent at a call center who I had trouble understanding. Just had a couple quick questions that she wasn't able to answer. Very frustrating.
