Phone number doesn't work... and who knows what you can actually dump on the weekends... we tried to call several times, before going there with our stove, grill, and other bulk metal items. Got there and they turned us away. It would have been great if they just answered the phone or had a valid number so we didn't waste our time.

I've had nothing but positive experiences at this location. They have multiple lanes and it's easy to get in-and-out of. The staff has always been friendly to me.

Let me explain why folks are seeing reviews that mention the employees are rude - up until maybe 1.5-2 years ago (2020/2021) there were several older ladies working here who were complete a**holes to everyone. I'm guessing they got fired, because since then, there's been a few older men working and they are all very sweet. One of them (that I've seen) will give dogs treats and chat and joke with everyone. It's now awesome.Great place to bring trash, recyclables and bulk items like couches or tables or big stuff. However, I would skip this place for aluminum and metal and take it to Clark Metals downtown Murfreesboro cause they pay for it. Otherwise, pull in, throw your trash in, then pull around to the recycling and bulk, then walk your cardboard over to the cardboard container. Any laminted (cereal boxes) or greasy cardboard (pizza boxes) goes in normal trash. They also don't accept bags in the recycling, but they have trashcans for those if you don't just reuse it. There might be a line of cars but it moves pretty quick, the men operate things well now.

I understand it's not a glamorous job, but don't be so darn rude and hateful. Also, the bulk containers are always full and you're left hauling it all back home. Its ridiculous they can't at least anwer the phone or put a voice mail message with hours and such. Had to resort to paying a fee for the city to pick up items at my house, that I should be able to dump myself.

Sometimes the bulk bins are full but there’s never a problem taking my holiday trash and cardboard. Appreciate this being here. Really convenient location right off of 840 just down about a mile.

Not sure why people are saying people are rude. Been going there several years and the only reason someone would be rude is if you are rude to them.

Located about 3 miles down Almaville Rd, close to 840 exit/on ramps. Almost always a busy place. If you get there when they open at 7:30 be prepared to wait in line. It does move fairly quickly and they also offer recycling. Cardboard, junk mail/paper, plastic and tin/aluminum. No oversized recycling on Sundays only regular trash and normal recycling if the bin isn't full.

Normally the people that work at these places are miserable rude and get a kick out of letting you know you can't do something. These guys are great. Not the norm.

The guys at Almaville are great. Never had a problem. They asked me where my dog was and told them she wasn’t feeling well and they sent her a treat for the next day. ?

Signs are well posted and the staff have always been extremely helpful! It does get busy sometimes, but that's because they are so great!

It's a county dump, so come on people. Nice people working there though.
