It took over 3 weeks, 2 appt and no show techs to get the gas connected to the tank that was not done at install. Now we received a bill for this service that was paid for during install.. calling customer service is s complete waste of time because no one speaks good English

Delivered the gas 1 month after I ordered it. Account balance was zero and I paid for the gas in full before delivery. Then get a bill for .14 for an unknown charge. You can bet that will not be paid. Poor service A-Z.

The service technician was great when he came out to check the tank for leaks, however that's the only positive thing I have to say about this company.We have been without propane for over 2 weeks. We have been told we are on an emergency list 3 different times. We still do not have heat and are forced to use space heaters. This has easily been the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

97 year old customer with auto refill and this company let the tank run dry. Was without heat for 2 days.

First the good: Service man was as nice as anyone you will ever meet.I was charged two late fees for bills I never received. I was supposed to receive a credit on my installation from the pre-install on site visit which I never got even after calling.After the hot water tank was installed I found out the tank was locked and had to wait 7 days for the service man to come out and then I had to pay an additional $200 for the service man to come back out after install and unlock the tank. $100 to unlock the tank. $100 to come out. I feel like this was double charging.If you decided to go with AmeriGas know that it will cost you $1000.00 installation fee to rent the gas tank. Based on the time the service man was out here, that came out to over $200 an hour.

I have had one of their tanks at my home for a few years. It has always been easy to request a delivery. It has always been delivered in a timely manner. Making a payment is also very easy.

This Google review to give another form of communication to request the propane tank to be removed from my property. I have requested communication with Paul and Teresa, the area supervisors/managers, multiple times. This was done via the resolutions and escalations departments located at the Amerigas headquarters in Cleveland, OH. These requests were made on the following dates; June 23rd, 28th, 29th, and July 8th and 20th. I have not received any calls from there as per my request.I also emailed the resolutions department to request the tank be removed. The resolutions department manager also requested a picture of the tank to show the percentage of gas currently in the tank. I was told there would be a charge for removing the tank but the refund for the percentage of propane in the tank, should offset this.I also spoke with the RV park owner and he said there are others who have requested their Amerigas tanks to be removed. He said one female customer still has a tank on her property, even though a request was made. The RV owner recommended that she write a letter to have this removed.The purpose of this review is to show the respond time that it will take for Amerigas to remove a tank. This review will be removed once I AM MADE AWARE of the removal without any issues.UPDATE: As of July 27th, I received a review reply from Amerigas and they requested me to send my information to them so they could take care of this. I am waiting for them to reply to this so it can be addressed.UPDATE #2: I received an email from Sandy, Customer Advocacy Specialist, stating that they will pick up my tank on August 4th. I wish ALL employees were thorough with their work.PLEASE NOTE: I hope the local company monitor their techs more closely to ensure that they are using MULTIPLE tools to check for gas leaks and not just to use their nose from 30+ feet away from the tank. Gas leaks are nothing to take lightly.
