This company is all about lining their pockets in whatever means possible, and did all they could to strongarm my family into paying them to move our tank. A tank THEY PUT IN and had inspected at least twice since 2015.After being a customer for 8 years and getting behind on our last bill (which I did eventually pay off in FULL), they tried charging us $150 for a new "inspection" for our 1k gallon tank. Although they were willing to waive the fee (when I flat refused to pay it) - they then tried FORCING us into moving the tank saying it's too close to a neighboring building and they wouldn't fill it again unless we consented to paying MORE $$$ for it to be moved a total of 4 feet away (the week before Christmas in the worst economy I can remember at that)!Again though, this is a tank THEY PUT IN (beside the same building they're claiming is NOW a problem) and had inspected numerous times over a 4 foot difference. FOUR FEET.All I will say is THANK GOD Suburban propane isn't the only company in town, and that the others I called (as well as the one we hired that came out and filled our tank this am) have some common sense and courtesy.Never again Suburban. When you treat your customers like they're disposable, don't be surprised when they disappear for good.

Capable in delivering gas, but always delivered in the wrong month. I think that they purposely delay my August delivery date until October to get a higher price for the gas. Also, being forced to refill every year is not needed due to only having a gas fireplace. However, they require that even if you do not need any gas. Then they charge you their minimum delivery fee which is much more that the cost of the gas. Should be able to just order when you need it, even if it was a year and a half. Also, they charge over $80 for the tank "rental". I figure that I have paid over $2,000 for that tank, so far.

There is nothing wrong with service they provide. But they have a problem communicating with their customers. They have filled my tank twice without permission. Not really sure how or why it happened. I own my tank and call around to get the best price. So frustrating to communicate with them. Should not be this hard. Delivery driver is great but he has to listen to the unhappy customers. Hope it can go smoother in the future. Jim williford Tennessee

We contacted several propane suppliers for propane service installation at our residence. Suburban was able to schedule us weeks earlier than the others. They resolved some installation issues. We're in operation and are please.

Waited several weeks to get our tank installed - much longer than the estimate they gave. Was told we'd get the propane in "a couple days" after installation of the tank. After many calls and misinformation, we finally got our propane 4 weeks after tank installation. The installer was terrific, but dealing with the "office" folks was a nightmare. Never got credible information. SO frustrating.

From the first phone call to get an account set up to the installation of the tank, Suburban Propane has been awesome! I initially called another propane company and after 30 mins on the phone they still could not get me pricing. Suburban Propane got me pricing in just a few minutes. I highly recommend them!

Liars and thieves! My sister purchased a property that had one of their propane tanks on it. The former owner stated his family had owned it. They deniedthis and charged a rental fee. Then when it was time to fill it they Charged almost $200 to "test" the tank. Filled it up and a week later it was empty. Suddenly they don't own the tank my sister does and it will cost almost 200.00 for them to see why it leaked out.

Mike (installer), Laurie (CSR) among others; did everything in their power to establish a professional relationship with us and made the installation of our whole-home generator a success.

Service/installation tech. was very courteous and timely. Had installation of tank and line to house done within an hour. New installation so I'll have to do an update on filling tank at a later date. Lady I've spoken with about tank installation and pricing was very informative and helpful. I hope every in the future is as easy. Thank you all and good job!!

The only reason i didn't rate them a five star is that actually becoming a customer and getting the process scheduled and implemented was a problem. It put me two months late with the install.However, the install guys, from the delivery of the tank, the excavating and setting of the tank and the hook up and testing were all stand up people. They were on time, friendly and did a good job.Thank you to Kerry for finally getting all the scheduling handled for me.Brad

Just switched to Suburban from a different company… so refreshing that actual humans answer the phones, the gentleman (Ronnie) that came out to deliver the tank went out of his way to address issues due to location and the way my old system was set up! He found a leak in system which prior company wouldn’t even address.
