Just had the WORST banking experience EVER! First, I didn't know that banks are finding it okay to charge non-members of their banks to cash checks written by their actual members accounts, that have the funds to cover the checks they write!!! ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Worst was the attitude of the teller when I mentioned that, it is unfortunate that banks no longer honor the checks that are written by their members who have the funds to cover the written check. At that, she said that she wouldn't cash the check at that branch, even though my hands were tied and I had to pay the $7.00 fee to cash the check. The WORST way to do business and to garner business from potential new customers/members EVER!!! The unfortunate part of this transaction is that, now I have posted my experience on the web and will tell everyone I come in contact with. (for example...Like the time I used My 3 Sons Moving to move my home and they damaged over $3,000 worth of my property and offered to only reimburse me $98.00! Well, if I'd have signed the check they sent...I was bound to an agreement to never tell of my experience. I didn't sign the check, so even now, I'm using THIS opportunity to spread the word of My 3 Sons Moving Company's AWFUL service & cheating ways also!). Just know this Suntrust Bank...I work up and down the east coast and EVERY opportunity I get to give my thoughts on Suntrust Bank & the AWFUL teller that I had the terrible opportunity to deal with in Memphis, TN on Stage Rd., I WILL be sharing. I've had the BEST SERVICE from BANK OF AMERICA and my credit union USAA (yes, Suntrust, you cheated a US military member). SHAME ON YOU!
