I miss working here even though the guys were not professional grill makers they were welders they were assemblers they were different people that were workers from all different types of backgrounds all coming together to achieve a common goal produce great smokers and I loved learning something new and working with these guys even though the owner with throw fits sometimes even though I was the only one to get a good laugh out of it I was just a saw man cutting all metal.

In April of 2019 I contacted Piggyback Smokers to build me a BBQ Smoker/Trailer.. he told me the deposit will be half down. The down payment was $2600.00. I gave the owner $2500.00 cash the same day and sent him $100.00 via a money transfer app the next day. The Job was not completed by June. I called and texted the owner several times with no response. When he finally responded to my text, he said that he would call me back. No return call as days went by. I began texting him again and got a response of he was with another customer and would call me back. This repeated itself over and over. More and more excuses for months. From staffing to "we're moving" to shortage on steel. During this whole time I was still trusting this guy to do what he agreed to. I even recommended him to three people. Two of which placed their orders and got their smokers before me. In January of 2020 I was able to contact him and he said give him two weeks. But guess what? The same thing started all over and the new excuse was Covid. By June of 2020 I was fed up and decided to contact attorneys to see what I could do to get my money back after over a year and he never even started on my order. I even spoke to other customers of his on social media and they placed their orders after I did in 2019 and received their product in weeks. The attorneys informed me that even though he says the refund is nonrefundable, He is in breach of agreement, and I was entitled to a full refund. We filed the Lawsuit in July of 2020 however the courts were delayed due to the pandemic. The hearing wasn't held until July of 2021 and I was awarded $2600.00 plus cost. One bit of advice I was told by my attorney is that He is listed as a LLC. therefor he cannot represent himself in court and he must retain council. So don't be intimidated by his "Nonrefundable deposit" scare. It will cost him more money than your deposit.

Bought a smoker in February 2020 told me 4 to 6 weeks it’s 14 months later and he told me to take him to court if I want my money back put down 2460 he wants a down payment he’ll bug you for that down payment Then when he gets it the lying and Stalin begins after 13 months we talked on the phone he emailed me a promise to complete by April 30 of 2021 or my money back by May 2 and then when I called him to see if it was ready he told me not to contact him no more So I had file charges on him and I have to get my money that way I left a review on Piggybach smokers and somehow he got it taken off

I can't say enough about how awesome Piggyback Smokers is. Thomas worked with me and highly communicated with me on the status of my smoker. The smoker works like a dream, some of the best food I have ever smoked has come off of the smoker they built for me! Thank you Piggyback, you will definitely be building me next smoker!!!

I bought a 250 gallon offset standard flow smoker and it's a nice smoker for the price. They completed the smoker when they said it would be done and it cooks very well.

Couldn't be happier with our new trailer. It is above and beyond what we were expecting. Thanks to Thomas and the crew for going above an beyond. Everyone needs to get their hands on one of these pizza ovens!

I finally have time to write this review. We got our smoker about a year ago from Piggyback. After going back and forth with Thomas with different ideas and he was very patient we made our decision and pulled the trigger to get it built. The quality and craftsmanship is second to none in the business!! I have no regrets with going with piggyback!! When he says if you can dream it up he can build it he can!! We are moving into a brick and mortar and I will be having them build our next smoker for the building!! Thank you Thomas and your crew at Piggyback Smokers!!

The pit is very sturdy, good airflow, thick metal. You will not be able to buy a pit like this at Lowes or Home Depot. The primary stack is long, it has good draw, and the temperature is not difficult to regulate once the pit is learned. It has good heat distribution as can be expected and the trailer pulls smoothly. This is a great pit that I will not outgrow, and Thomas included all the units I asked for.

Product seems decent, when delivered wasn't complete. But that was per our choice because the 4 week build turned into 5 months, and it still wasn't complete. We opted to finish it so it wouldn't take another month. The owner always has a reason why the build isn't done. Seems, by his own statements to us, turn over is very high there, or employees are sick.
