“I cannot recommend this clinic ENOUGH to those seeking a caring, knowledgeable staff for your fur-kiddos! I have never had a Vet Dr get down in the floor with my fur babes and actually do a complete body check of my dogs like Dr Hobbs does. He checked my baby over like she was an actual human. I have been to this vet more times than I care to admit the last 8-12 months due to having two dogs with medical issues. Dr Holcomb has been AMAZING as well in addressing and dealing with one of these dogs in particular. He is constant with his care and remains VERY available when I need answers or even reassurance that what we are doing is the right path at the moment. I definitely count him a blessing in my life with my pups. Dr Hobbs is equally as wonderful. They both genuinely care about your animals. It doesn’t stop there tho, the staff are just as amazing to me. The techs are loving with all my babies, even the difficult ones, but it’s more than apparent how much they care. If you ask me, if the staff isn’t friendly at the front, you’re probably not going to encounter anything great beyond that. At Family Pet Vet, the front staff are ALWAYS gracious and understanding and listen intently on all needs that need to be addressed, no matter how busy the clinic is and this clinic gets VERY busy at times. They never treat you as if it’s a burden to help like some clinics do. The costs associated with care are ALSO VERY reasonable. I have NEVER felt like I’ve been charged too much. Dr Hobbs doesn’t want $$$ to come before care so he is EXTREMELY reasonable with his vet care costs. I will NOT take my animals anywhere else going forward. Thank you Dr Hobbs, Dr Holcomb, Leslie, Hannah, Ukulele, Johnnie, Bren, Carla, and the rest of the Family Pet Staff!!! You are an amazing to me and all my babes!!!

“They saved my little Fika girl's life. She had an infection inside of her spay incision that burst open, and a reaction to the internal sutures her vet used, and it got so much worse so quickly. We took her in immediately as we noticed something was wrong, but of course it was labor day and there were 50 patients ahead of us! Despite this, the staff did their absolute best to care for our baby. Everyone I met -- from the ladies at the front desk to both vets (we went back the next day because we were worried about the swelling, and they gave us an anti-inflammatory) -- were absolutely amazing. The staff are so kind, knowledgeable, and strong. It's obvious they try their absolute best to care for all the poor babies who need their help. Thank you SO MUCH. Today Fika got checked up at her regular vet and she is healing perfectly. You have no idea how grateful I am that she was in such good hands. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. And the price was much more reasonable than I expected too! When we took her to get the anti-inflammatory, they didn't charge us for anything but the medicine! They did everything they could for us, and it was everything we needed.”

“This was our first visit to Bristol Animal Clinic.
We are new to the area and our 16 1/2 year old German Shepherd mix , Molly, had a kidney infection and needed serious help.
We have been blessed to have had the pleasure of having some extraordinary veterinarians in her life. And I thought that wasn’t going to happen again having relocated to this area, not knowing anyone.
Man was i wrong .., Dr. Dotson is on a level all by himself. Caring, loving, dedicated, professional and treated us like family , more like royalty!
He literally rolled out the carpets for Molly, to be able to be comfortable on the polished floor because he immediately noticed that the exam table would be uncomfortable for her and then proceeded to lay with her to get acquainted and very gently evaluate her condition. He took the time she needed , treated her infection, made sure that I understood the best course of action and answered all of my many questions thoroughly. Molly is now in the best care of her life and I couldn’t be more content with how it all went. Thank you tremendously Dr. Steve Dotson, you are the greatest!!!”

“My dog had trouble breathing. I called and they said bring him in immediately. Dr Hubbard said she would see him. They wasted no time. Dr Hubbard quickly evaluated him. They treated him for fluid on his lungs. Now he is breathing fine. I feel their fast and immediate attention save his life. I want to thank Dr Hubbard and the staff for taking us in on the spur of the moment.”

“Very compassionate with pets. Dr. Allen helped with my dog, Arthur who needed health care but was very fearful. He and staff were very professional as well as kind. We greatly appreciate the time and patience from all the vets and staff with all our pets.”

“I can’t praise this place enough!!! We recently did a trial board here for our dog Teddy, and he did great!! So we then booked for 3 nights… and he did not have a good time!! We have an incredibly anxious, sometimes fear reactive rescue, and this boarding and veterinary team went above and beyond for the 3 nights he was there! They kept in contact with us and our emergency contact person for each situation that came up. They did everything they could to make our boy comfortable! Unfortunately, his anxiety was so severe they found it best that he shouldn’t be boarded here (or probably anywhere) again which is why this place deserves way more than 5 stars!! I am so impressed with this place that they care more about my dog and his feelings and safety, and the safety of their team, more than they do about turning me away and loosing money for a second board, that truly shows me how wonderful and caring this veterinary practice is!! We left with a few resources to reach out to for an upcoming vacation, and some words of wisdom from the doctor, and I truly appreciate everything they have done for us and Teddy!!!”
