Beautiful RV resort with beautiful views along the river. Friendly helpful staff. When hauling your RV make sure you follow the direction given by the RV park and not your GPS. The directions are so helpful and perfect! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a nice stay. Clean and pretty. Everyone was friendly. I can't stress enough to follow the directions that get emailed to you. We did not and messed up one of our ac units. Totally my fault, follow the directions given!Nearby activities: Good size town is within 20 minutes

We had an incredible stay! We got there a little late in the evening, but they still came and showed us straight to our spot. They even delivered firewood and ice straight to our spot! They were very friendly and extra helpful. We stayed in spot #2 right on the river and I HIGHLY recommend it. It was absolutely beautiful and away from the city life, but not too far so you can still make a day trip to Nashville! 10/10 recommend!

Rooms was not applicable as we had our RV! But the space we parked was great! #46 opened up to a pasture with horses and goats. The camp ground and activity hosts were phenomenal. We were lucky to attend their first all-camper get together with a bonfire and hayride! The next trip down, we will be parking at the river! ❤️

This place is a gem! We stayed in our 45’ 5th wheel at the top of the hill for eight nights. Nice level pad with fire pit and string lights. Plenty of room in our back in. It is quiet. It is out there but totally perfect. Dog park was great. Only suggestion I would have for it is a bench or sitting area. They kept everything trimmed and cleaned up. Firewood and Ice at the office. They even delivered our firewood to our site. The nicest people running the camp and the friendliest neighbors. We are full timers and we’re impressed. My pup loved the river walks and the horses and goats next door. The cabins look beautiful and they have a tents for troops program as well. Provided directions for coming in and they were perfect. Keep it up Piney River. Can’t wait to see your expansion project including a pool.Nearby we found Hideaway Farm once owned by Johnny Cash and Dillingers bar at the highway. Small grocery not too far away that had essentials but large stores are farther so come stocked if you don’t want to venture out. Perfect area to get out on the motorcycle even though the road is gravel toward to park. Franklin was a great day ride as well. Thanks for having us!

My husband and I (and our pup) have stayed here for 2 months and have moved to a couple of different campsites based on our change in plans. The staff have been wonderful and accommodating throughout our stay. We have seen this campground grow in the time we have been here and are excited for all the changes! The dog park is wonderful and actually a dog park (not a small fenced in pee pad in the city like we were used to!) and we have really enjoyed the farm animals around us and how friendly they have been. The river is wonderful for fishing. Very family friendly, but also pretty quiet. We are excited to see all of the changes this campground has in store and are excited to come back in the near future!

We were in the area for a family reunion and stayed a couple of nights in one of the Glamping Tents. We loved the whole Safari Tent feel and it was not lacking anything you would find in an upscale hotel room. Only one small thing we could complain about was a shared fire-pit area attached to another tent. We could only use it one out of two nights. However, if you were there with multi families and had both tents it would be ideal.Overall, owner/staff was very accommodating. Grounds were very clean and well kept. Nice fenced in dog park area to let the dogs run around. RV area appeared to be well organized and we saw some decent size pull-through spaces through-out. Probably a little hot during the summer months with not much shade but there is a nice flowing river to cool off in and there are some really nice RV spots right along the river which would be my first choice. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed 3 nights at Piney River Campground. First time visiting. We Absolutely LOVED it! My only regret is we didn't stay longer! Full hook ups, beautiful sites by the river. People were extremely nice.

I can't begin to describe how Amazing this place is. We stayed 2 nights in the glamping tent and let me tell you they are first class. So neat, not just clean but looks like everything is brand new. In the middle of the country but close enough to everything you could want or need. We kayaked the Piney, grilled, sat around the fire pit, and took some nice walks. Put this on your bucket list!

We had the most relaxing, fun trip here! We actually had 7 people (2 adults & 5 kids) in one tiny home and we all fit perfectly. Everything we needed was already there, and the staff was so accommodating. The kids loved tubing in the lazy river & exploring the resort. We’ll definitely make this an annual trip!

Good little quiet place for overnight stay. Can't say much about long term but we just needed a quick place. Stayed on site 36. Really tight site. Too close to site above us. Couldn't have put out awning if we wanted to. But like I said it was for just a night. We didn't even unhook from truck and site was level enough for that. Restrooms and showers were super nice and clean. Wish I had pics of them. My wife wants me to do ours like those. Lol. If the campground gets this maybe post some pics of those just to show them off. You guys should be proud. Just watch the road in and out of there. I lost my awning the next morning trying to get back to the interstate. Really narrow.

My wife and I stayed in the Light House for 4 days, it was very nice. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The gas grill on the deck was a nice touch for me. There was a ferocious storm one night and it knocked out the power for hours but that didn't dampen our enjoyment. That being said, no power meant no connectivity there is almost zero cell service. That didn't bother us because it's good to totally unplug now and then. The staff was very friendly and looked out for everyone's safety when the river began to flood.I was impressed with Piney River and plan to return again in the future.

Aaron was exceptionally helpful and friendly! The tiny house we rented was clean, well equipped and we loved the fire pit, string lights and rocking chair deck with gas grill! The river was wonderful and the complimentary burgers, live music and fireworks were a wonderful surprise! The guests are equally warm and friendly as the staff… we can’t wait to return!
