We've used this vet for over 10 years now and they are so friendly and good with our pets. They do a great job of getting us in when there is an emergency besides our regular visits and they genuinely care about our pets. I highly recommend them.

We have gone to Animal Care for 26 years and can't say enough about the excellent care our dogs received. Dr Sullivan and Dr O'Neill are both so knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. They are also soft-spoken which we really appreciated with our first dog since she was very timid at the vets. Mel and the rest of the staff are also very caring and professional. I would recommend them to anyone who is seeking the best care for their sweet pets!

Easy to request an appointment and fit us in quickly! All staff were kind and attentive to me and my pup. Doctor listened to my concerns and then developed and explained a thorough treatment plan. Thank you, Animal Care Center of Brentwood!

By far, it is the best vet experience I've had since being a pet owner. Not only do they look out for the well-being of my babies, but they are also very affordable.

We have been going to Drs. O'Neill and Sullivan since 2006. They love each of our animals equally, take great care and time with them and us, and have definitely seen us through some very difficult losses. For compassion, excellent care, and helpful referrals if and when needed, this practice is for you and your pets. Also, you need Mel in your life … she takes care of everything!

From front desk to seeing the doctor- I experienced a great sense of satisfaction. I felt heard and my fur baby was very well taken care of. Thank you for understanding the helplessness of a pet parent.

Wonderful Vets! Both are so terrific with my dog (who can be a bit high strung). Lisa is so sweet when I have to put one down. We both cry. BUT, Mel is the best office manager/ receptionist/ helper ever!! Love you all!

Summary -- Mel is wonderful and incredibly professional. I personally don't appreciate comments that have been made from both vets regarding myself and my dog over the course of ~2 years of service. Situation #1, my dog was ~1 year old: I explained to Dr. O'Neill my dog has separation anxiety, but is not destructive. (Expected when I work from home full time and have always since he came into my life.) Vet makes suggestions as if I don't understand the breed, do not exercise him enough, etc. She tells me to exercise him more, have him do more brain games etc. Sends me home with a packet of information. Which is great! But she didn't understand that we were going on couple mile runs, playing fetch (his favorite), and playing different brain games on a weekly basis. Perhaps if she had led with the intent to listen to what we were already doing instead of immediately assuming nothing was being done. -- Fast forward ~9 months-- Out of town for a work trip. Sitter is at her wit's end because of how he behaves with aforementioned separation anxiety. Had to have her run to the vet to get medication. Situation #2, today: Dr. Sullivan is showing me leash handling tips and tricks (as if we haven't learned that already from working with a professional trainer in our spare time.) Not a big deal... Background-- (To make this abundantly clear: I did not ask for training advice. Not even once. I have paid thousands of dollars to a professional dog trainer for that.) The vet was suggesting this because my dog jumped all over the staff when he walked in. When people are reaching down to pet my dog, I'm going to assume they want to pet him. Our professional trainer has taught us, people reaching down encourages jumping up. When people are acknowledging him, reaching as if they want to pet him, if I don't let them pet him he will be incredibly vocal. That is-- yipping for attention. So if someone's posture shows me they're inviting attention from him, I'll allow it. If I notice from their body language they do not want to engage, I have him maintain "sit" using slight upward pressure on the leash / prong collar combo. OR I will uphold strict leash handling skills to physically divert him from that person's space. Part 2 of situation 2--My dog started barking behind a closed door in one of the exam rooms because he saw someone outside getting into the car. My dog barked for all of ~30 seconds at most; Immediately once he began barking I command him to be quiet, etc. I even give him a correction with the leash and the prong collar to hold a down and be quiet. Dr. Sullivan pokes his head in and states "You should tell him that that's not proper." .... As if I hadn't been doing that already. He had no idea what was occurring behind closed doors, but assumed once again that I had 0 clue about dog training and handling. So at this point I'm worrying about stopping my dog from barking... at a vet's office. Where animals go... who bark at times for natural reasons... Over the course of our ~1 yr. 9 months frequenting this particular office, there were also smaller comments made from both vets that were condescending. Disappointed because I love the vet techs and front end staff. My dog saw this vet from birth and ideally he would have seen them until the day he died. In finding them, I wanted a place we could trust with providers who would listen and be helpful. I wanted a place we could use for life. This wasn't the case for us unfortunately, so we will be researching and allocating resources to find another reputable vet that is perhaps a bit closer to home.

My family and I have been using this vet for years. I have been to other vets and definitely like this one the most. They are very knowledgeable, they only suggest procedures or shots that would be helpful for your pet (they don't tack things on just to get paid), they're very kind, and they even have Saturday hours! I couldn't recommend them more.

ACCB has treated our two pups and two cats for years. We love both Dr. Sullivan and Dr. O and the whole team from front office to the techs in the back. The office is clean and conveniently located in Brentwood. The staff is friendly and caring. They do not nickel and dime you and push for excessive treatment and procedures. We have had to go through the worst time in a couple of our pets' lives -- the end -- and they treated the affair with respect and dignity and love. Cannot say enough good things about this vet practice.

I’ve been going to Dr. Wayne for several years unfortunately recently I had to put my German Shepherd down and they would not take the time to assist I understand that everyone’s busy but I am one of their customers and lady is one of their patients. The second occurrence in less than a month is a rescue that I had and I’m Larry he had also been under doctors care and they would not take 15 minutes to help me put Larry down. On both occurrences I had to go to BluePearl in Franklin. I will never ever ever use this that again they are lacking the humanity that I must have an vet
