I’m writing to share my recent experience with Truist, which has left me deeply disappointed and questioning the bank’s commitment to customer service.
On December 16th, 2024, I visited a Truist branch to open a business checking account. What should have been a straightforward process turned into an unnecessarily complicated ordeal. I was asked numerous detailed questions about my business, planned income, and operations, which, while unusual, I complied with. After providing all the requested documents, I was told I would receive an update the following week.
However, two weeks passed without any communication. When I followed up with the branch manager, I was told they needed more time. Another week went by, and still nothing. It felt like Truist wasn’t valuing my time or business.
A week ago, I decided to close my personal accounts with Truist after more than two years of banking with them. When I visited the branch, the same manager acted as if we had never met before, which was deeply frustrating.
This entire experience has shown a lack of organization, poor communication, and minimal regard for customer loyalty. It’s clear that customer service quality at Truist is on the decline. I will never be a client of this bank again, and I encourage others to carefully evaluate their options before choosing Truist for their banking needs.
I hope Truist takes this feedback seriously.

I was coming to open an account at this branch when I noticed a white vehicle with many awful and offensive political statements on it.
I then noticed the utterly disrespectful upside-down American flags on their car. I was in the parking lot and asked an employee whose vehicle that was, and they stated it belonged to an employee. As the son of a deceased veteran, I found this to be horrific and extremely disrespectful to military families like mine. I will not open an account here.
That employee should be made to remove that stuff on company property.

Gregory was amazing! We were SO stressed out about the fraudulent charges on my card but Greg took care of everything in one sitting. He was professional and personable. Talked to us as if we were both old friends and important customers, truly an amazing guy!

Probably the weirdest exchange I’ve had at this bank. I’ve enjoyed coming here until today I went to deposit a check and the woman at the window was cold and robotic. I was the only one in line and she took a while to answer the call so I thought no one was there and started to move my car. Then she finally appeared and I requested to deposit a check. She said, “okay, give me your debit card” which I thought sounded strange but it was hard to heard. I put the check and my card in, there was no other response but my card came back after a while with a receipt. With the bank run going on, this is making me reconsider having my money here. It was disturbing to have a bank member say little to nothing and to not have a basic verbal exchange in a place I’m supposed to keep my money at. I’m reconsidering having my money with you all at this point.

I’m so frustrated with this bank. I’ve banked with Suntrust for over 4 years, and after having a credit score of 815 I came to them to get a business auto loan. The agent who helped me told me my loan was approved pending documentations. I brought everything they asked me for and after spending almost the entire day at the branch I was stole my loan was denied. So frustrating that it took them so much time to get this trough and wasted so much of my time after being a loyal costumer.

Applied for the PPP loan last week. I cannot talk to any one about this loan only emails, and now the bank will not reply to them . I only know the applications has been completed. (I know people who were approved in days from other banks. People at this branch don't know any more than I do. I wish I could have used another lender.

Rude tellers. Rude managers. Rude experience altogether. I am moving my banking to Pinnacle, right next door because these people are completely incompetent and have zero customer service properties. Sad, really that a person with 10+ years as an account holder is treated so badly. I hate to have to go through the headache of changing banks, but this kind of gross negligence is unacceptable.

My experience with this branch has been great. Everyone including Jeff the VP Dave Lambers. in investment services and Cory have been cut very customer service oriented. It's great to have a big bank with lots of resources but with a local bank feel. I have been a SunTrust customer for 18 years and I've been very happy with this branch in particular.

I have banked with Suntrust since 1992. I recently deposited cash and checks at the drive thru here and received a receipt which I have saved. The bank has since claimed the cash was not in the deposit and debited my account and claimed the tellers do not count the money at the time of the deposit. I think it's obvious that it was stolen. It took over 3 months for the company to decide not to refund my money, even with a receipt showing a cash deposit. This is negligent and corrupt.

There customer service is horrible. Anytime you try to call a branch to ask a questions you can NEVER get a live person. I also brought about $100 in loose change into their branch to be told they don't have a coin counting machine. They offered me a choice. a) wrap the coins and bring them back b) they would bag up my coins and send them to an outside service to be counted. You have got to be kidding me. How they hell wraps coins anymore. Never have I had a bank that wouldn't run your change through a change counter. Of course, I could pay for that service if I went to Publix, but I would prefer my bank to actually provide a little service once in a while. Looking for another bank.
