Great assortment of gourmet items. Fair prices on meat (they have a butcher counter!) Excellent deli variety. Nice coffee selections. Good prices on wine. Love this store!

My all time favorite market. We find excuses to come from Gallatin to here. Love the meat selection and the chicken salad is amazing! The wings are also outstanding. Great selection of bakery stuff and my son loves the creme broulette. Go here!

Typically have a good experience here. Today the trail mix at the self-serve station was very old/hard - and there was a bug crawling in it! Of course I didn't see that until I had opened the bag in the car and ate a few pieces and realized it was stale- and then saw the bug. Took it right back into the store (bug still in the bag) and the manager said he would get me a refund but that was it. No measures taken to ensure that I would return. I'm sure they will be pulling the trail mix but that is far from the point. Disappointed to have this type of experience after all these years.

I had a bad experience at fresh market today in Brentwood tn. I learned a hard lesson today as I did not order beef tenderloin ahead for thanksgiving. I can see the issue if it was turkey but the butcher told me he couldn’t even tell me if they had enough beef tenderloin for me. Poor management of inventory and a very lousy attitude. I was angry as I consider myself a great customer there but not any more!

What have you done to your cold salads?!?! Last week I came in and ordered the Orzo salad and the Seafood salad. Both of which I will never order again from this store. It use to be a treat for me on an occasion after long week of work to come by and totally enjoy these 2 salads. Last week the Orzo had a massive clump of something in it and the taste was gone. As in the case of the Seafood salad. It had an off slightly bitter taste. I actually threw both away. They were not edible in the least. If they were old the should not have been served. As I said they were a treat I would enjoy. . .this was not an enjoyment in the least. Poor.P.S. with Google you need to apply a star. . .in this case I wouldn't of posted any star. B L A H! (good summation for the taste of these 2 salads)

This is my favorite grocery store hands down. First of all the staff is always so so helpful. At this point I consider some of them friends. Secondly, they have really good sales so that it’s not as expensive as you may think. They also have specialty items like my favorite, salted caramel whipped cream. Their banana breads are also top tier.

Went to pick up pistachio cake . Sales person acted like they never carried it but then said about a year ago. ( when my son in law had his last bday, I guess). Then picked a cheese cake and it was terrible. It was from the display case and why I didn’t ask if one was in the fridge. It was dry and tasteless. Asked to have a topping put in a container and she said, “ oh I can’t do that, they won’t let us, it’s really sticky”. Customer service???? Not impressed

I love the daily specials! Bought some ground sirloin for 4.99/lb today. Bakery goods are great. Only downside: no seafood salad!

My favorite grocery store for fresh produce and meat options. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Their pastries are divine and their deli options are excellent. Everyone was very helpful.

Man, I have a real love-hate relationship with this store. But mostly love, hence the four stars. And it had better be, considering this is in Brentwood, a.k.a. Rich People Wood. This place is EXPENSIVE and costs twice as much as a standard store like Kroger or Trader Joe's. But here's the problem. It's SO DANG NICE. Such a pleasant experience. Relaxing classical music over the intercom. The aisles are never clogged (probably because not many people can afford to shop here ). And the food truly is FRESH, hence the name. You don't buy a package of a pound of beef. You go up to the butcher's counter, tell them how much you want, and they package it there for you. Same with all other meats.Do you know how else you can tell this place is FRESH? There are only about four aisles of pre-packaged food and drinks. I'd say about 85% of this store is full of fresh produce and meat. Oh, and no "normal" cheese either. Want a regular block of mozzarella or cheddar? Nope. You've got to get the fancy, fresh cheese at the deli. The fresh, full-moisture mozzarella or cheddar. Goat cheese too. All the fancy stuff. Same deal with bread. No regular sliced white bread. It's all expensive bakery bread. But then you might ask...why would you go here for a block of Kraft cheese and a loaf of sliced Wonder bread anyway? And that is a very valid question. And the truth is...I wouldn't. I'd come here for French cheese, top notch meat, and gourmet herbs. And then drive a mile up the road and get the other stuff at Kroger or Trader Joe's. But that doesn't make it less annoying. I guess I'm just spoiled. I want to get everything I need at just one store. That's just a me problem, not a Fresh Market problem. There are really only two things preventing me from giving this five stars. First of all, the 3-4 aisles of packaged and canned food are laid out a bit weird. Like the canned tomatoes and the canned beans are in two different aisles. Weird, right? All the canned stuff should be together. And then the other reason this isn't getting five stars is--you guessed it--the PRICES. I'm a single guy, so I only have one mouth to feed--yet I've never left this store with a bill in the double digits. I can easily get a week's worth of groceries at Trader Joe's, Kroger, or even Publix if I'm being extra frugal, and have double digits on my receipt. But not here. You think Whole Foods is expensive? Whole Foods ain't got nothin' on the Fresh Market.Yet despite the fact that I really can't afford this place, I keep coming back. Because it's just such a pleasant and luxurious shopping experience. It's kind of irresistible. I just need--and so do you--to discipline myself to come here only for special occasions. If you're looking to cook a gourmet dinner for your wife on Valentine's Day? This is the perfect spot. But don't get lured into shopping here every week, because that's easy to do!Oh, and did I mention their coffee bar?! They have tons of bulk coffee, plus the featured brand on tap. You can sample it there or just take a fresh cup home with you if you don't want to buy a whole bag. This place is top notch, and because of that, I drive 30 minutes out here, all the way from my home in north Nashville, and spend way more than I should. But I'm never disappointed in the quality...everything I cook and eat that week is guaranteed to be steakhouse-level delicious!I guess the point I want to drive home is...shop here at your own risk!

I work near this grocery store, and I love popping in for a quick snack! The staff is so helpful, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. They have such a great selection of things, and I always find what I’m looking for!

My favorite grocery store period. Full of great seafood, the best frozen pizza I’ve ever ate, hard to find peanut butter, & classic soda brands. Store manager is outstanding! Unfortunately customer service is lackluster in deli & full of bad attitudes. Needs to be corrected ASAP!

I love going to Fresh Market on Thursday to get a roasted chicken and a large pizza for $6. However, on June 8th, I bought the pizza with lots of veggies on top. Froze it until yesterday, baked it, while eating a piece I bit into something as hard as a rock. It looks like a tooth! Not mine. Please check with person who makes the pizzas to see if missing a tooth.

I love shopping here, and love the wonderful treats the bakery makes. I’ll shop here every week as soon as I get a better paying job!
