The worst is the bank. I lost $800 to a hack, and it took me a very long time to get my money back. In addition, I still don't have a credit card after more than a month has passed. I made multiple calls! Why must I pay you thirty dollars to get some inexpensive plastic supplied in three days? DON'T! I repeat! Don't bank with this cheap a** bank.

Wasted over a week of my time for a Dirtbike loan sending papers in just to tell me they don’t do Dirtbike loans

Been banking at the cool springs location for 8 years, have never had a problem with any staff or anything! They have some slightly different security protocols than some bigger banks I've been to, but if you know what those policies are then they are extremely easy to deal with. Only complaint I have is the card fraud system can be somewhat frustrating to use sometimes.

Hands down the worst banking institution I’ve ever used. Initially opened an account because credit unions are suppose to be better. Then I had ridiculous limits on atm withdrawals (but non members could withdraw more). The app was barely functional but it worked until they completely eliminated external banking transfers and now the only way I can pay on my loan is to call in and pay $10 to pay over the phone. Not to mention the headache it is to even close the account when you no longer live in the state. Stay away, Bank of America and Chase have been amazing for years and not all credit unions are created equal. Avoid this one.

I stopped using TTCU years ago because of degrading service and hours wasted with customer service because they screwed up their systems migration.I'm writing this review TODAY because of the completely unethical, uncivil behavior of the branch manager Susan.I had a super old ACH connection charge me (the account is empty) and then their systems added on a $32 fee. I POLITELY spent time on the phone with Susan explaining my situation and asked for the fee to be waived. She bluntly refused saying "we don't refund those fees"Susan, you're the Branch Manager. You have the ability to work with good standing members and refund fees. Either you're lying out our teeth about TTCU policy or your company is completely out of line. I suggest folks find a financial institution that will treat people like human beings instead of acting like corporate robots. Shame that's they chose a stupid $32 fee over their reputation.

No way to replace debit cards when fraud occurred but to wait 14 days, the “benefits” of a credit union is really missing here.

My mobile deposit of my payroll check was rejected because I was told I needed more money in my account than the amount of the check. Not only that but no one from the credit union bothered to call me to tell me it was rejected. When I called to find out what in the world happened to this check they admitted on the phone that they don’t even process mobile deposits, that a 3rd party does it so they couldn’t even tell me what the rules regarding mobile deposit are so I can know for the future. Do NOT open an account with this credit union. I will be taking my banking elsewhere as soon as possible.

I've put off writing this review hoping this Credit Union would somehow win me back over the last couple years, but no dice. Between the faulty mobile app, the constant hurdles that it seems other credit unions have managed to simplify, the lack of modernization, and the logic of banking that is missing... I can't recommend anyone to open an account here. I've been a credit union member my entire life and a TTCU member for over 10 years. I just switched banks and it's like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. I gave them an extra star because the tellers have always been kind.

They make it incredibly difficult to make payments, won't give you your member number to set up automatic payments among other things. Very frustrated.

I joined and opened an account recently at the Cool Springs branch and found the staff to be very available, friendly, personable, and efficient.

I have been banking with TTCU for over three years now and by far this banking institution is the absolute worst. Worst customer service I have ever received from all staff including the branch manager. They will not give you any information regarding your accounts via phone, you have to physically go in for everything which is not convenient. Their mobile banking app is a joke. They refuse to deposit checks via the app and reject them forcing you to physically go in once again. They also put holds on your physical checks for a minimum of two days as well. I’ll be closing all of my accounts this week. Do not bank with them.

Helped me with cashing some bonds which is a trying process. They made every effort even though I am with a different credit union. I have been dragging my feet looking for a local credit union and this experience helped me decide to go with Tennessee Credit Union.

Worst bank I've ever had. 1. They force you to change your password every few months. Then you're locked out and have to have someone at the physical bank reset your password. I've done this 3 times. THe last time was a month ago. They did this weekend website upgrade thing and I'm locked out again. 2. You have to do your banking during your lunch break. They close at 5:00 M-Th and 6:30 on Friday. If you feel like standing in line go on Friday, otherwise, go during your lunch break if you work close enough, if not you're out of luck. They have a phone number and it's the same hours of operation. 3. Pay your credit card on line or at the bank and it takes a week to clear. The ladies are nice and very patient. They've helped me a million times. It's the higher ups that need to get replaced for these ridiculous policies. Thank you esp to Lisa for all her help.

Only giving them 1 star because I cannot do less. Went to pay off 3 loans. 1 was for my son. He called the day before and asked to have a note put on his account so they could give me his payoff information. They refused to do it. I have worked in finance and lending for a decade including TTCU and it is perfectly legal to do and we did it all the time. Then my son called for his payout and they gave him the wrong amount. Continued incompetence at all levels dominate the landscape of the 1950s mentality credit union. Lots of. Enter options for customers and employees.

Been banking with this place since 1988, very happy with their service.
