I rented a 15 ft truck that was supposed to be 29.95 per day. They charged me 160.00 saying was for a deposit and such. We saw we were gonna need it another day and called them to make sure all was ok, told them it may even be later in the evening the next day that we returned it, guy said yeah no problem. We got a call from another uhaul from an 855 area code BEFORE it was due back on the original date saying it was due back that day. Told them I had already called my local uhaul and they know and gave the go-ahead that we could rent an additional day. We returned the uhaul the next evening (around 8pm) after we had cleaned it all up and the next day instead of issuing me a refund to my card they tried to bill my card almost another 60.00!!! I thankfully keep my card locked or they would have charged me well over 200.00 on a rental that should have cost 60.00!!!! I wouldn't recommend uhaul at all, they'll rip you off!!

I've rented here for several years. I'm moving out this weekend. Storage fee keeps going up.
The flat bed carts were always missing. Restroom wasn't that clean. Urine on the seats and floor. No paper towels.
Staff is very friendly. Just never answers the phone and you'll get directed to the corporate line.

Customer service was awful there was one guy who knew what he was doing and everyone had to wait for him to do some random crap outside to finish up with our payment after the girl who was just hired asked him for help and he ignored her. We waited an hour just to pay. AND we didn’t even get all the equipment we ordered we just got the truck.

The truck only had 1/4 of a tank when I picked it up and when I returned it with the same amount I was charged $130 extra because they put down that it originally had 11/16ths of a tank (which it most certainly did not). They also did not have the truck pulled up and ready for us when we arrived for our appointment. They handed us the keys and expected us to go find it in the grid of trucks and pull it out from between two other large trucks. The customer in line before us did not have an appointment but they were given the luxury of having their truck pulled up and ready for them. So, I'm not sure if this was a situation where they were ill prepared for our appointment that was scheduled in advance or what. I would suggest checking gas gauge levels at the time of the appointment to prevent making your customers feel taken advantage of. Their idea of addressing the issue involved asking if I had taken a picture of the gas gauge at pickup (which I should not have to do if they properly log accurate gas levels in the first place).

I wouldn't even give 1 star if I didn't have too smh, we paid almost 115.00 a month for 1 month and a half but never thought that going there to move our things to our new home, that we'd have bugs, roaches in our belongings. We were discusted to say the least and had to throw out different items and go through everything we had. We realize that some people might bring bugs into places like this but we never thought that as clean as it looked when we first stored our things and then leaving it clean, that we'd ever have a problem like this. We didn't even have our things in the unit a full month of the 2nd month we paid for and when I turned in their lock and told them it was empty, and that there were roaches, they didn't care at all... we had to go and spend more money for preventatives against bugs... They should have offered half a refund for that at least. We were never told that there were bugs inside their facility. Beware! I also took pics of the clean unit we left!

I registered to pick my rental up using my mobile app. To do that it requires that you scan the bar code on the building. There was no bar code so I had to go in and deal with a check in in person. I was told the sign with the bar code had fallen off of the building and they hadn’t replaced it yet. When I returned the rental later that day, this location had closed early due to weather. The bar code sign still had not been put back up so I was unable to finalize my rental and had to find a number to call. The general manager answered his cell after a couple of attempts and he told me he would take care of it for me when the location reopened. I have not received any documentation yet showing this rental has been closed out. Also, the vehicle I was given was older and didn’t want to stay in the gear I placed it in.
