Pleasant's Store is a clean, old-timey store with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are friendly, helpful, and the friendliest people. The food is great and absolutely the best. The grill makes the very best sandwiches anywhere, including the best cheesesteak, Philly cheesesteak, roast beef, and shaved bologna sub. Other highlights are the homemade chocolate cake, the special of fried potatoes with awesome pinto beans and cornbread, and Homestead Creamery milk. It is a great place to grab a sandwich lunch. Customers are glad it has stayed open and will keep coming back.
Just stopped in on the way home from a project and got a chicken Philly sandwich and those are just the most phenomenal on made sandwiches. And if you’re a big steak eater, their steak sandwiches are really good as well.
