“Stayed one night while passing through the area on a bicycle trip. This is a real gem of a hotel with lots of charm and character. It's an older, historic building, but extremely well maintained and immaculately clean. My room (#4) was a little small, but very comfortable, had a TV, and the shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. There's a common area with a fridge, microwave and coffee. The staff was very friendly and seemed to take real pride in the hotel and the rates were very reasonable. Would absolutely stay again if I were in the area.”

“It was better than I expected. Everything was installed new 2 years ago according to the owner and was in great shape including the shower, commode and sink. The TV has a generous amount of channels compared to most Wyndham and Choice Hotels competitors. No fridge or microwave however.”

“This was a very nice and slightly different tea. So many, 10 to be exact, scrumptious offerings before the three desserts. All of them slightly different from the rest, and not a single cucumber sandwich in the bunch. I love cucumber sandwiches but I did not even miss not having that type. The pimento cheese with apricot jam was a real wow moment for me. Sweet, salty...wow! The spiced peach & brie might have been a little better on a smaller piece of bread but that was the only complaint I heard from our table of 8. The pumpkin-ginger scone with a glaze was so tasty. The desserts were just ok. And the three types of teas that were served pretty much satisfied the entire room. There was an English Breakfast, a Jasmine & to my surprise, my favorite, Ginger Peach. This was very much worth every penny & I only wish I lived closer so that I could go to the next one, although I may fly in for that anyway.”

“Saw sign on the highway that said this quality inn was newly remodeled. When I mentioned that to the front desk, she laughed and said "maybe 10 years ago!". Lol

But despite that, the rooms were clean and there was two gas stations, subway, and McDonald's all right there (some in connecting lots).

Great location just off the highway if you're too tired to make it into Nashville.”
