This place is like a candy store for enthusiasts! It's amazing what these guys build and work on.
They also do work for regular cars mostly higher end ones.
Myself and all my neighbors take our Audi, BMW, and Porsches here. And been coming here for years.
They are very knowledgeable and technical aboit everything.
They are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. If you're like me that would rather pay good money for good service. This is the place. I live in Nashville area and still come here.

Took my work truck there to get shocks and alignment and a new radiator. They were nice and accommodating, when I got it back I noticed my I would lose power every now and again. I took it to have it looked at and they broke my mass air flow box completely. It was just sitting there busted with not one single solitary screw put back in it, and the filter was also crushed. They left a gap in my radiator an inch wide on the left facing side and failed to plug all my hoses back up so my radiator is still leaking just in a new place. I told them if I needed a new rim because one was bent to go ahead and get it. They said it didn’t need it, so now the alignment is messed up again already because they didn’t fix the wheel. I took it up there to tell them it was still shaking and they told me to have the tires balanced, which I obviously done before I got the alignment, I bought brand new tires and had them balanced the day I dropped it off to be fixed. The pins that hold down the plastic on top of my radiator, not a single one of them were put back in so it just sitting there hanging out too. If I had known they were going to just shove everything in there and not put screws or hoses back I would have told them to take their time. Pretty much costed 2,000$ is what it costed to half ass it. So be weary and definitely make sure u check their work and if u know nothing about it make sure u take someone that does.

This place has been very good to my wife and I. They have been always right there to talk and help out if it’s on the phone or in person. We brought our truck in with several deep rust issues on the frame, the entire tow hitch assembly, and the shocks, they took a look at it, examined what route to take and came up with a resolution of how to repair the issues. We are very pleased with the work that they have done for us. Daniel is a man that stands behind his work, and I can definitely say that it is quality work. Thank you Express Automotive.

My 2012 Volkswagen Passat broke down during my trip from Knoxville, TN back home to St. Louis, MO. The Team at Express Automotive was honest and professional the entire way. Being an out-of-towner with no immediate options, they could have easily charged me high prices and taken advantage of my situation.Instead, they did the commendable thing and gave me their honest opinion: they could keep my car for several days and try and fix the issue, or they could recommend that I tow it to a dealership that was better equipped to help me quicker than they could.They could have charged me anything they wanted, and I would have probably paid it because of my situation and need, but instead they charged me nothing (even though they spent time and effort to diagnose the issue) and wished me, many times, the best of luck and safe travels on my journey home.You can trust the team at Express Automotive to treat you fairly and with the utmost respect.My sincerest regards and deepest thanks,Austin

The experience at Express Automotive / Total D was excellent! Daniel took my car in late on a Friday and was able to get it back to me on Monday. I even mentioned I needed a part that I had discovered was broken just before bringing it to him and he sourced and installed it for me (at no charge) in that short of a time frame as well! The team here also jumped in to help when I forgot the bumper to my car, which meant I had to take all the under tray and fender liners out. I was on the road in under 45 minutes and was able to borrow a couple tools and the shade of the shop. Can’t recommend the Daniel and the team at Express Automotive / Total-D more! If you’re looking for a spot to treat your sports car appropriately, this is the place!

We have used this service for about 10 years. Sooooo happy we found this professional, ethical craftsman. He has solved more than one prickly problem for us. He communicates often and clearly about the process. His fees are very reasonable. He has even sent someone to pick me up when I was stranded! Our car overheated on the way to gatlinburg, and luckily for us, we found Express Automotive!! These folks are top notch all the way around! They found the problem, ordered the part and had us back on the road in 24 hours exactly ? we drive an import and finding someone who can and will work on an import can be challenging outside of a dealership. It’s amazing we found these folks! They are fair, knowledgeable, and friendly!!! Hope we don’t break down again, but if we do we hope it’s near Express Automotive in Carthage, TN!!

Requested my rear brake pads to be changed, that’s it. They called to say the car was close to done, but then called back saying “they were having an issue with the rotors”. Didn’t mention they were changing the rotors… that didn’t need to be changed. Went to pick up the car when it was finished to find the cost to be 4x what was expected because they changed the rotors too. They didn’t tell us they were doing that, and we would have told them not to do it if they had mention

I came in for a routine oil change and discussed some near future repairs to be completed. The issue I currently had was diagnosed and was encouraged to get repaired ASAP- that same night my vehicle died on me and I had it towed the next morning. My vehicle was repaired and back on the road in less than a week everything was explained thoroughly, stayed within estimate, quality parts were used, and my vehicle was running good as new again! The owner and staff were very professional and honest and worked hard they are a reliable automotive repair shop and do not push things that are not necessary to be repaired like your corporate chains. I will be back and I’m grateful that I was able to find my new local permanent automotive repair business ! I felt prices were fair and in line with what I looked up for parts, I definitely recommend coming here over some cheap hack job somewhere else !
