They returned my call a couple of days later. I texted pictures of three antique chairs that needed the bottoms re-supported. Got a quote. I was very pleased with the work and felt like the price per chair was reasonable. I would use this company to reupholster any future pieces as I observed some of his work while in the shop.

Marvin at Ma and Pa's Upholstery is very knowledgeable about the art of reupholstery and truly cares about the quality of his work. He reupholstered two wing chairs and two side chairs for me and they all came out beautiful without a flaw. He matched the pattern and repeat perfectly and even did some extra inner construction work on one of the seats and didn't charge extra.

Marvin Rollins is a master craftsman. His upholstery skills are unmatched. We have used Ma & Pa's repeatedly over the last 6 years and are extremely happy with each item he does for us. I tell everyone I come in contact with about Marvin. His attention to detail is unmatched. We will continue to use him for all of our upholstery. We drive one hour each way from Brentwood to see him!

We were very pleased with the recovering of our 1940s couch. They were able to restore the arms to their original shape from a previous recovering. We will definitely go back when we need other items recovered.

My wife has her grandmother’s antique settee and chair, probably made in the 1920s. It had been recovered (poorly) a long time ago and sitting in storage had allowed significant structural deterioration. Marvin did an incredible job of restoring and recovering these pieces. We couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of his work and reasonableness of his pricing. Ma & Pa’s Upholstery definitely earns a 5+ rating from the Lasaters!

Such a great experience. Marvin really went the extra mile. I found a beautiful blue velvet couch that looked ready for the dump and he restored it to its former glory so well. He took the time to explain all the fabrics and the pros and cons to each, rebuilt, the entire structure, refinished the woodwork, added more filling to the couch. I couldn't believe how great of a job he did on the wood, it's looks perfect but still has the antique look. I couldn't recommmed this small business enough. Sometimes Marvin is hard to get ahold of but be persistent, it's a one man shop.
