September 2021 - We hired Nicholas (& partner, Dale) through CB2 - Handyman to install a light fixture in our kitchen. At the time, he was professional and our light is still working good until today.October 2022 - He messaged me out of the blue seeking work. We offered him a job to install two (2) electrical outlets. He asked we pay for supplies up front due to spending $$ from his personal savings (Red Flag #1). On the day he is scheduled to arrive, I received a text that he is hospitalized for a fall due to a ladder incident. He rescheduled to the next week and did not show up for this either without a call or response. He has not responded to our text messages and has declined several Venmo requests for our money back. It appears he may have been good at the start of his business, but something must have changed.

I didn't look at reviews on yelp before I used Nick. started off great but then it started one of the last jobs I sent him $200.00 and he said Venmo took his $ and would I send it to his sister Venmo and would pay back once he got it worked out. So then he needed to borrow $100.00 for gas he had lost wallet in ATL and needed gas to get back so sent that on Cash app. Then Nick wouldn't answer phone or text.

Last October, I got Get it Done Electric from Home Advisor. Two young men came, not prepared but I will blame lack of communication on what I needed vrs what Home Advisor gave as a description of what I needed. i required another electrical box to be installed in my outside shed that already had electricity. They had to go to the local Lowes to purchase the material which was the wire needed to run from the existing outlet, to the new place and the GFI new outlet/box. if I remember correctly, that cost was around $60. The two guys did the work and left. the new outlet was loose, but over the winter, served its purpose as I plugged in a heater that would come on if the temperature dropped below 50 and supplied power to my grow lights for my house plants. the other electric box was only used for my 7 cubic foot freezer which was filled with high quality meat. spring came, i took my plants out and eventually unplugged the heater and grow lights. I noticed the electric box that Get It Done was very loose. A day later, I left town for 18 days. the day after I came home,I decided to put my suitcase back in the shed and was met with a horrendous smell. The freezer was off and the meat had thawed and was rotten! all electric, in the shed is not working and 3 of my other outside electric outlets stopped working! I suspect the loose gfi box failed and tripped the rest on the circuit! I lost over $700 in food which if I had to replace at todays cost would be close to $2000! I called Get It Done and left messages twice but no one called me back! the one young man who installed the box last October said he was the electricians son but now I suspect neither him nor the other young guy was a licensed electricia! I paid through Home Advisor over $350 for a licensed electrician plus extra for the materials the guys had to purchase.whoever owns this company should contact me but hasn't! I would recommend to anyone reading this post to find a different electrician!

He's a thief. He will ask for supply cost up front, then tell you a sob story about a family member being in critical condition then no further contact. Find someone else, save yourself the headache of being stolen from. He comes off very nice with the yes ma'am and yes sir but it's all fake.

I'm still waiting (over a year now) for Nickolas to pay back the money he borrowed from us. What a slam, he gains your trust then asks for a huge amount of money promising to pay back soon. We've never heard from him since he left with our savings. He is not reliable.

I've used them several times and they have been on time, quick and professional. They do an honest quote, and will not over charge their customers like most in the field. I highly recommend.
