“This store has been a part of Cleveland's history for decades. I am very sorry they have been acquired by a chain of stores, Food City. Another example of a family business going out of business for big business. Cooke's will be closed for good the first week of December 2023. I hope Food City lives up to just half what Cooke's was in their prime.”

“I just bought a Cherry Pie from the Bakery section in Galax, and wanted to say that it is the best fruit pie I've ever bought from a chain grocery. Most times the crust is horrible. The crust on this pie was flaky and very good. I've tried pies from a bunch of different stores and this is definitely the best ever.”

“I'm a big fan of shopping small and shopping locally. I use to use my home town pharmacy but their hours just aren't conducive to what I need. Every Walgreens I've visited is always nice, clean and friendly. This particular store offers a 24hr pharmacy which is very nice. If you're looking for a pharm you can trust then look no further than your local Walgreens!”

“Had a great experience with Erica over the phone. Had lost my son's prescription and didn't know what pharmacy it was at but when I called this one, Erica told me they did have it and were already able to look up his insurance and everything making it very easy for my son to pick it up on his way home. She was nice and efficient without being rude at all...even sounded NICE, which is somewhat unusual in overworked pharmacy staff these days. Kinda makes me want to switch all our prescriptions there. Very happy based just on the telephone impression. ?”
