I frequent this grocery store more than any other in Chattanooga. It is convenient and usually quick if there's more than one checkout person working. This evenings (2-25-25) checkout person was new to me and he was not friendly like every other employee I have encountered at the Lee Hwy Aldi. If he is ever the only checkout person I will leave my stuff and leave.
I shouldn't let one bad experience affect how I feel about the place but his attitude was so out of place there

Good quality items and foods. Very interesting and new specialty items and goods. Excellent produce dept, many organic options in most departments. Store has gotten pricey in recent years though🫤

I like this store, mainly the junk aisle. You can find all kinds of things from taking care of your pet to taking care of your car. The only thing I don't like is their fresh vegetables. I'm not sure fresh is the correct word to use. Every time I have purchased these things, they have never lasted more than a couple of days. I'm not sure what the problem is, but this has happened to me enough times that I have decided if I'm not going to use this immediately (DO NOT BUY). The check out clerks are always so fast. (They need to train all Wal-Mart checkers or rather all other competitors' checkers).

I just came from the ALDI's shopping . I am tired and just got off work. I have shopped at this store for years and I can truly say never have I experienced anything like this. The young pink haired, mulleted head , Velma glasses wearing cashier at the front was very rude . I was being rung up by her , she was snappy and condescending. Telling me to "bring the buggy up here", like I was a freaking child. She needs to work on her delivery and treating everyone the same because the people in front of me that she rung up were not addressed as such. Had I not been coming off 12 hours she would have gotten cursed out quite honestly. Please do a better job at who you hire because, I can guarantee she is gonna get her feelings hurt talking to people any type of way. Her name on my receipt is Peyton.

Price wise things varied and very reasonable. However Peyton (at least what my receipt said) girl with rainbow hair. Seen it fit to throw my stuff in the buggy( I could of made a big deal of it but I didnt) and i went to stand something up because it didnt need to laying on its side she threw something else and almost hit my head. Regardless of not bagging groceries people are still paying money and not wanting to take home damaged product. I for one will NEVER return to this location. I could receive better customer service from a rock.
