It doesn’t even deserve star. I’ve always liked coming to Aldi‘s because of great Prices. But today I learned the only way Aldi’s is a good experience is if you shop for your own stuff and go to self check out and don’t have to deal with staff. I decided to do curbside pick up because I work quite a lot this week and decided it would be the quickest way. They only had one timeslot open after I got off work so I chose it. I ordered my stuff yesterday to pick up today and two hours before I was supposed to pick up. They told me they were running behind. They still said my timeslot was 6 to 7 though. So after work, I showed up and sat there for 30 minutes after that much time had passed. I decided to ask an employee about my order since it was only 10 minutes till my timeslot was up. And it was still showing preparing and wouldn’t let me sign in as there she informed me that they would get it out to me. I went back to my car and a couple minutes later she comes to my window and tells me that it hasn’t been picked. And it’ll take a minute I asked her if I could pick it myself she said no. Then five minutes after that, another man came out to my car and told me that they are done picking for the night and that I was the third order in line and he couldn’t jump ahead and that I could either cancel it or Wait till another day. I’m sorry, but terrible customer service Especially for the fact that they never even called to tell me that my order was never Gonna be ready and an hour before the store closes they tell me they’re done picking orders, even though I’m sitting there waiting to get my order. Never again

Nice store layout and looks recently remodeled. Galvatron was with me (my Cocker Spanial) and I did not have a quarter so leashed him in. Female manager 5/24/25 7pm waited until I arrived the check out to announce loud enough for all within 15 ft to hear. No dogs allowed unless service animals. I stayed inside not yet have a quarter for the cart. She said no not in carts at all. I stated I have a clean rubber coated mat I lay within the carts, but alas no quarter. She went on to say we needed to leave. Surprise YA ASKED IS AT Check OUT.
A fellow shipper pulled me to the side and said she had watched me in the store and Galvatron was very well trained. I thanked her.
NOTE Galvatron goes everywhere I go period.
Dollar General WalMart Save a Lot all allow him in. Granted I did not have a quarter for the gimmick shopping cart game so. My fault. The manager's condescending attitude takes one star away from what was a good experience with Aldo's I will have his service dog papers next time and that solves that.

My family and I do curbside pickup through Instacart. It is such a time saver. Shopping with the app is so easy and fast. Never again forget that item you meant to get!

Great prices, service & clean. Nice process for shopping buggy use. Bring a quarter. You get it returned after returning cart. Bring your own bags. It's easy. Cashier is fast & courteous.
