My minicooper broke down, i called around and found this place. They allowed after hours drop off and even checked my car out the very next day! They sent a detailed list with pictures and notes from the mechanic describing what the issues were. It was a little pricey but honestly what I expect when repairing my mini. lol when I picked my car up the front desk attendant was super nice as well. Definitely coming back for all repairs from now on. Thanks!

If you have a European auto, this is automotive mechanics you need.

I took my car to s&s because of an issue with the coolant system. They gave me the quote of what they said needed to be done and $3500.00 later it was ready for pick up. I picked up and the coolant had not even been flushed and it was low on coolant. So I took it back just to be told it would be over $4000.00 more to do what should have been done to begin with. Very disappointed and left ripped off....and my car is still broken. Do not recommend!!!

⚠️ This shop tried to scam me for over $1,500.
I brought in my 3 Series for a diagnosis. They said they couldn’t find anything wrong, but then quoted me $1,700 to disassemble parts just to figure it out. That sounded outrageous, so I declined. Then they tried to charge me $200 when they had done nothing.
I ended up taking the car to another Euro shop who diagnosed everything for $170, 1/10th of the price.
Bavarian was the worst of the 6 European shops I’ve used in this city. They quoted $500 just to remove belly pans, and $1,000 to DIAGNOSE a rear suspension noise. The other shop found it immediately — bad CV axle, no disassembly needed.
They also completely missed a broken driveshaft — said they “couldn’t duplicate” it.
If they you get a quote like this, go somewhere else. Waste of time and money.

My F36 BMW was having issues where smoke was coming into the cabin and smelled like burnt oil. The team at S&S/Bavarian auto had it diagnosed and back to me within a week and all at a more than reasonable price. Won’t be taking my care anywhere else, if I can help it! Highly recommend to others

My college aged daughter brought our Mercedes there . At first , they gave her a “diagnosis” with no codes $2100. When u questioned it , they input some codes by hand. They said it was a bad fuel pump .
Edited: we got the car home and had a TRUSTED auto shop look at it. It was a bad crankshaft sensor $562. Bavarian completely tried to scam my daughter . Stay away from them!!!!!! 0 stars if they didn’t have to get a 1

Great work was done on my car. All neatly put back together and was given detailed pictures of issues by mechanic. 2011 BMW 335. Great shop.

I had a battery installed in my bmw. About 3 weeks later my car wouldn’t start. It was the battery. It cost me $300 to have it towed plus the cost of a new battery and installation. Needless to say, I didn’t have it towed to Barvarian.

Had an appointment, got there late as I was no rush. They still did it same day. Didn't expect it back for several days.

Save your money and your time! This place is a scam and they are racist for sure. If you're white don't bother, and if your a person of color don't EVER bother! I paid for diagnostic and they did not do the diagnostic. They thought that I didn't know what I was doing as a young female by myself so they acted like they did a diagnostic and I caught them in the lie that proved that they never did it to begin with.
This place is the type of place that makes up extra issues with your car that isn't even there, they make all these things up, and they are all in cahoots trying to figure out how to scam the next customer. They literally told me that they just assumed I would need an engine from listening to how it crank. They never actually did a diagnostic that proved any facts of this. I had one service at Buyer call me and say my timing change jumped/stretch/broke and that I needed a new engine worth $12,000 a repair. Two days later I come and I asked for the diagnostic and it says nothing about any of this that was told to me about the timing chain and the engine. They actually were saying they don't know what to say about that because the person stopped working there three days prior. So these people are really making things up! Also, The service advisor Jeremy and the technician Tristan did not seem knowledgeable at all to anything that had anything to do with my BMW.

Just a great shop...smart, friendly, knowledgeable people. They saved my bacon on a long road trip, and I agree with all the 5 star reviews.
