Haven't been here since about 2006 or 2007 when I was a kid I wanted to come by and take a trip back down memory lane and see how much It had changed. As soon as I walked inside I got flashbacks from when I was a kid eating buffet at the Lazy Suzan tabletop it is exactly still how I remember it the food was great and the staff was awesome. Thank you for such great service and food today!

Eating at the round table will always be a hometown destination for me, leaving you rubbing your full belly and your taste buds satisfied. There's no other fried chicken like Bea's. I always have pinto's and chow chow and the round potatoes. It's a great chance to fellowship with newcomers over a great home style meal.Food: 5/5

Food is home cooked service is amazing! Our waiter was the greatest ( Aaron), and the atmosphere is laid back. Enjoy your buffet of food on a lazy Susan. ?Food: 5/5

Was not worth the price we paid $61 for 3 people drank water and could not take any of the leftovers home unless we paid extra. The ribs didn't have hardly any meat mainly bones with sauce. The fried chicken was good but I will not be back. Makes me wonder what gets done with the left overs lol.Food: 1/5

It had been years since we had been there so decided to go. Good atmosphere. Absolutely great service. Really did like the chicken, but everything else seemed as if it came out of a can or frozen from a bag. For the price, definitely will not be back. As busy as they were they will not miss me anyway.Food: 2/5

The food is always delicious, and service is great! Served "family style". You get A Lot of food but it was $40 for two people and you aren't allowed to take your leftovers!Food: 5/5

This place unlocks Thanksgiving at your aunties house type memories with every bite. There is no leaving this place hungry either with it being all you can eat. And lordy that sweet tea is done right. Worth the trip to the mountains and worthy of a trip just to come back and eat.Food: 5/5

Food was good. But the serving size on the veggies is probably less than half a cup. My husband got 3 of the little white potatoes. This was a takeout order so beware they have cut the serving size you get. Won't be going back.Food: 2/5

My Family has been coming to Bea's to eat since 70's , My Wife and I live in Amarillo, Tx. And come to Georgia to see Family every year that We can ,and take and meet Family members there to eat , price is good for what You get to eat , if You leave Bea's hungry ,it's Your fault , I think Miss Bea raised some good Son's that manage the place , and the staff are good people that take care of You.

This place has a ton of history in this town. Down home country cooking old fashioned. To start, no menu, you get what they give you and like it. You sit at the round table with lazy Susan and they just keep bringing the food. If you want more of something just ask. Known for their fried chicken but they have so much more. If you have never been here, hope over and see what it's about

So I didn’t want to go here by the look of pictures. My dad loves a buffet style eating. I cook soul food so I don’t like to go out and eat it. This place was actually good. They give you enough food for a family size. Only con they need to remodel and get a new recipe for the peach cobbler.

While vacationing in Chattanooga we were on a tight budget so only ate out twice in the 9 days of our stay. This was one of the two, because I wanted fried catfish, and we were terribly disappointed. (I admit when asked how everything was I only said, "It wasn't what I was expecting, but it was fine." I didn't have the heart or energy to get into all the particulars in person with the owner.)I wish I had read the review about bland, canned food before planning our visit. While the staff was great, the decor is dated at best and dreary at worst. Yellowed articles, black and white photos, and tables are all at least 30-40 years old. Nothing feels fresh or bright, from the 70's wood paneling and ceiling tiles to the brown ceramic plates. I saw all of this in photos before my visit and was prepared to overlook all in light of the rave reviews about the food. It's really about the food!Of the 13 items that were served, I only cared for 4 (as defined by taking more than two bites), but even those four were just mediocre. Everything was bland, like the kitchen lost the salt and pepper. Only chicken breast was served, no dark meat. The catfish was over battered and overcooked. The sides were all bland, overcooked, and likely canned or frozen. Have I mentioned bland?Dessert options, chocolate pudding and peach cobbler, were similarly disappointing. The cobbler "crust" was so chewy it required a knife, was soupy, and had very little (canned) fruit .. maybe 5-6 slices in our whole serving dish. The chocolate pudding had some sort or white cake/crumb throughout and was described by my granddaughter as "crunchy". She wasn't kidding .. chocolate chips aren't what is expected in a creamy dessert. Granddaughter asked if she could have a pop tart at the hotel, instead. Yes, kiddo, you can!Restaurants are expensive for one of two reasons, high quality or excessive waste. I am sure which is the case here. This place COULD be great with a refreshed dining room and menu. Here's my challenge .. create a spot worthy of NEW articles and clients. I know it's possible!

Had lunch, and got take out of all we could fit in a take-out box for $6.50 more. Was good old-fashioned, southern-style, home-cooking… and they just keep bringing us more food until we were full. It’s like going to Grandma’s house, except you don’t have to help clean up afterward.

Pretty bland food. I would call it cafeteria quality food in an old diner kind of atmosphere. Might be fine for some folks but not my cup of tea. It's all you can eat, so there's that, but even with that it felt a bit over-priced. Not bad, but solidly mediocre.Food: 3/5

Service was great like always!! The food is missing something that it used to have!! I remember the Pintos being homemade and the seasoning that was on the canned foods made them taste just as good. I would say give it a try if you have never been any ways!!
