Bluff View Art District is a beautiful and scenic destination in downtown Chattanooga. It is a small, pleasant area tucked on top of stone cliffs with the Tennessee River as a backdrop, offering a quiet, all-inclusive experience. Visitors can eat, explore, shop, and stay. The district includes award-winning restaurants, an artisan bakery, and an award-winning art gallery. Guests can also stay overnight in restored homes that are part of the Bluff View Inn. It is a lovely place to wander, with hidden art, sculptures, beautiful walkways, and an interesting outdoor sculpture garden near the Hunter Art Museum. There is a coffee shop where visitors can relax. The area has a unique, European vibe and provides great views of the river and the pedestrian bridge. It is a good place to visit on the way to the walking bridge. Some free street parking is available, though it is limited. The district is also noted as a beautiful venue for weddings and private events.
It's a beautiful section of Chattanooga. The Hunter Museum is a wonderful institution.
