I booked this hotel for a five-night stay with my family, including two kids (ages 5 and 6), and unfortunately our experience was disappointing from the start.
The hot water supply is extremely limited. The unit appears to have a very small water heater, and there was not enough hot water for our family to take showers, which was a major inconvenience during our stay.
Cleanliness was also an issue. The floors and baseboards were noticeably dirty, which made the space feel poorly maintained.
Each bathroom was stocked with only two towels, and it was very difficult to obtain additional towels when needed.
Parking is another drawback. There is no on-site parking or valet service; guests must park in a city parking garage about two blocks away, which is not convenient—especially for families.
The property feels more like an apartment complex converted into a hotel rather than a traditional hotel. It was also quite noisy throughout our stay.
Overall, our experience was not good, and I would not stay here again. There are many better options available in the area.

We loved the location and the ambience. You don’t have to leave the hotel if you don’t want too, they have a restaurant and bar inside as well as coffee shop. BUT our room was not the cleanest. There was dirt in the corners of the floors especially in the bathrooms AND there was blood smeared on the bathroom wall. We told the girl at the front desk as she just said well we can get someone to come clean it?!?! That should have already been done. We have 2 small children and that was VERY unsanitary. We will be back to the area but maybe not this hotel because that reason.
And we wish our room would have had a bathtub. We have 2 smaller children and they gave us a room with 2 showers.

I stayed here for four weeks while dealing with a water issue at home, and it was such a great experience. It is stressful enough to be displaced but I also had my pets to consider. They were able to come with me here. The vibe is really cool, clean, and trendy. The rooms are apartment-style with a fully furnished kitchen and cute funky décor — felt more like a home than a hotel. The beds were super comfortable. I had a two bedroom with 2 full baths, very spacious.
The location is awesome — right downtown and close to everything. There’s a restaurant on-site and even a Peet’s Coffee, which was a nice bonus. I also had a great mountain view from my room, and it was surprisingly quiet most of the time. The bedrooms could have a bit more light.
The staff were all really friendly and quick to help with anything I needed. Overall, I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay — highly recommend for a short or long stay.

Hotel Clemons is a great location. Very unique vibe with full apartment amenities, your entire family could stay comfortably. Front desk staff were amazing and helpful. Lobby is fun with pool table to shuffleboard . Great little bar and coffee shop.

I highly recommend this hotel if you’re gonna be doing anything in the downtown Chattanooga area—just delightful. Came into town for one night to see a show at Memorial Auditorium. This hotel is about a 10 minute walk. It is a loft-style apartment building, and the rooms are apartments. Very nice appointments from stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and soft-close cabinets to comfortable furniture and bedding—everything has been thought of. Easy to get to off the interstate and a nice parking garage across the street. Several excellent restaurants within a 2 to 3 minute walk. We ate at the Easy Bistro oyster bar across the street, which was delightful.

Great place to stay overall. Fabulous lobby convenient location. Great design and the bath products smell terrific. We did have a problem with our room being close to the elevator and therefore it being too loud to sleep. I recommend a lower level floor due to the higher ceilings on the 6th floor making the echoing overwhleming to watch tv, etc.

Only down side, be mindful that there is no parking on site and will have to pay per night at the parking deck.

This is not a hotel. It is a cautionary tale. A masterclass in incompetence and disrespect.
We drove all the way from Orlando to Chattanooga with two kids, arriving at 9PM, exhausted, hungry, and I am on crutches, only to discover this place had lost our reservation, which we booked directly through THEIR OWN WEBSITE more than two weeks ago. They had our card on file, could have charged it at any time, and still somehow claim they cannot find it.
Instead of apologizing or trying to fix their mistake, the front desk clerk ignored us while talking to his manager on speaker, discussing our situation like we were not standing right there in front of them. We stood there for 15 minutes while they tried to figure out how to avoid dealing with us. No urgency. No empathy. No professionalism. Nothing.
Their solution:
❌ Not honoring the reservation we already made
❌ Not offering a comparable room
❌ Not taking responsibility
Instead, they offered a discounted rate at their sister property across the street, which turned out to be more expensive than the publicly listed price on Priceline. So not only were we lied to, they tried to upsell us while we were stranded, exhausted, and desperate at nearly 9:30PM with two kids falling apart.
The disrespect alone is staggering.
We left with no room, no assistance, and had to scramble to find accommodations late at night in an unfamiliar city. A total failure of basic hospitality and human decency.
If you value your time, money, or dignity, do not book here.
Save yourself the disaster. Book literally anywhere else.

We were pleasantly surprised of the hotel and the accommodation. The apartments (hotel rooms), are definitely worth the reasonable cost. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding make you wish you could take it home. Plan to return when we are passing through or plan to visit. Thank you 😊

I had bed bug bites after 2 days and found blood stains under the mattress which is usually considered evidence of bed bugs. They refused even a partial refund or to address the bed bug problem. I liked the hotel initially but they were very rude to me when I brought up the concern. Please don't stay here

10/10 one of the best places to stay and by far one of my favorite since traveling with our kids! It is easy to reach, centrally located, price right, safe & secure, the staff go above and beyond, so clean and QUIET (big for parents). I'm happy to make this my regular stay when visiting Chattanooga. Thank you for the experience!

This place is insane, best hotel or apartment I’ve ever stayed in, no joke! Such a cool space.
