The younger guy that i was sent to in the cashier line had earbuds in and just seemed unintereted in talking. I get it's a job but in customer service you should be able to hear customers, or at least let them know your lane is open. The girl cashier let me know his register was open before he even looked up from whatever he was doing.

there close already store say that they stay open until 9 but staff has already shut the store down cashier saw pulling in still continue to lock the door also customer still in there while door was lock as well

It says online and on a poster out front that the store closes at 9pm. I rushed to get there cause I HATE being that last customer in the store when you are trying to close but I got there at 8:45 grabbed a basket and picked up a few things. a gentleman with a red beanie approached me and said they were closed and they had already put up the register so I had to put down my basket down and leave, i pulled out my phone and showed him it was only 8:52 and i still had 8 mins left so i could atleast check out. He didn’t say anything and walked away, I go up front and the lady is super rude and doesn’t offer me a receipt and has to unlock the front door so I can walk out still before 9pm. It’s 2024 if you hate working nights that bad you have other options.

Normally this store is fine, but last night I rushed to get there before it was supposed to close at 9. Got there at 8:30 and the lights were off. Other people showed up too and were disappointed. 2 stars because normally itw fine.

The store was a mess. When I went to check out, 2 women were arguing at the cash register about the drawer being over 🤷! Ignored everyone in line. They acted like we were bothering them. Ridiculous and unacceptable .

I was shopping here & decided to put my stuff I got back. I had a water in my hand only to pay for. The lady yelled at me & said do you just come in my store to put stuff back. I told her no I am low on funds for another week. She kept running her mouth so with all the confusion from it I forgot to unlock my cash app card so the payment didn’t go through & she said come back with the water like I took it on purpose. The nerve of people. I won’t shop at her store anymore. The other lady was nicer there. This woman is rude. Plus they need to move stuff out of the way where people can actually walk.

Even though I live right across the street, I probably won’t be back to this one. The past couple of times I’ve been the cashier doesn’t know good customer service… stays on their phone, or walks away during every transaction… and I stayed in the store for a little bit because I was locked out of my car and I just walked down an aisle for a second after already purchasing things and the cashier screams across the store that I can’t walk around with a bag.. which I understand but come to me and be quiet about it, it made me feel like I was stealing when I really wasn’t doing anything but standing there on my phone.

Shelves were a mess...i don't think they had what I needed. You really have to look in the huge pile of products on the bottom shelf and I didn't have that amount of time. Went somewhere else and all good

The tall darkskin man looking chick always has an attitude. I mean alwaysssss. She’s rude, and doesnt greet the customers. Life can’t be that bad, or maybe it is lol!

Absolutely blown away by the customer service here!!! The employees are beyond any expectation I could ever have for Dollar General. Enough that I’ll come shop here before heading to Walmart or even my favorite grocery store. Not for the price as much as knowing I’ll have a good experience.The store itself is very neat and well kept considering how small it is and how much merchandise is available.I just can’t say this enough, this location has made me actually like Dollar General. I’m in awe. They should be so proud of their employees.
