Dollar Tree sells lots of items for $1.25, which you can also find at other stores, but the prices at other stores are higher. Most shopping trips, I buy a supply of greetings cards, books, gardening items, health and beauty items, craft items, cleaning supplies, dog toys, games, and candy.

Unfortunately I have to leave this establishment a one star review. My daughter and I were accosted by an employee named Barb after this employee witnessed my daughter touching slime that was opened and shoved onto a shelf in the skin care aisle.
For context: I noticed the opened slime sitting on the shelf and proceeded to walk by into the main aisle when my daughter said “mommy, someone opened slime and just left it there,” with a shocked look on her face. She did touch the slime as she walked by to tell me. Was that ok? No. However,
This employee Barb starts yelling at me, ARE YOU GOING TO PAY FOR THAT!? I had assumed she thought my daughter had opened the slime, and I told her that slime was opened as I walked by earlier, and she said she saw my child touch it as she walked by. She then said I needed to pay for it because of that. I said no, that was wrong that she she touched it but how long was it sitting there open? How many kids or adults have done that same thing? Why was she yelling at me in this place of business? She kept repeating ARE YOU PAYING FOR THAT, I saw her put her finger in it, over and over. It was ridiculous.I do take responsibility for my daughter, and after I said maybe she should remove it from the shelf, she said she would, “but I needed to teach my child about what to do and what not to do”. I did use this as a teaching point for my child- how not to act as an adult professional, how not to communicate or participate in conflict resolution, and how to not to show any type of mutual respect to another human being. Do better, Barb.
The woman at the front check out was great, and I appreciate her timeliness and positive attitude.

Good shopping for supplies like most other dollar tree stores.
Store was much larger and better stocked than the ones I've been to in Austin.

Employees are rude, store stinks like a sewer, older white hair grannies want to fight over who in line first because cashier can't call for additional help. Store never has anything, shelves are empty!! Find a better location for your shopping.

There is a manager there named Barbara. very unpleasant!! I was there to return some items. She was despotic and did not accept them, she told me that they were not from her store and that I should go to where I had purchased them. She turned around and left me talking to myself. The return policies you can buy and return at any of their locations, they were from the dollar store located in Hixson, but this happened at dollar tree in gumbarrel.
