I hate you have to leave a star just to leave a review. This place doesn't deserve even one lol. I (along with everyone else in the area) prefer DG down the street. But due to them being out of stock in what I needed, I came to FD. The same guy who is always there if I come was who checked me out today. He's NEVER friendly. But today was my last straw. In stock at DG or not, I'm done with this place. Everyone is always so rude and they act like they're doing you some kind of favor just to allow you in the store lol. As customers, we make a choice to shop here. One thing about the Chattanooga and the south in general is there are dollar stores on every corner. So acting like we don't have a choice but to deal with the attitudes and mess isn't a smart business move.
Ps customers, check the prices when you check out. None of them are correct. Deodorant, for example. This jerk said, "so do you want em or not?" When I said they were ringing up the wrong price. I said "sure, for $6.40 like it says.. there's not even a deodorant back there that says $7.25." He actually rolled his eyes and huffed. Like a toddler. And I wasn't even being rude. Yet. He said "look, there's nothing I can do, prices went up. Yes or no?" Yeah, that's a no lol. That's 85 cents difference. If you're gonna raise the prices DO IT ON THE SHELVES FIRST. But either way, there's zero reason here to be ugly to someone who isn't being ugly to you. I asked about the price of something at the place he chose to work.. I didn't ask why he looks like he hasn't showered in a week. They're just really not smart, not nice and not worth it. DG is 4 seconds down the road. The employees at this place are as though the owners ordered the staff on Wish.

So convenient and clean. I always feel safe shopping here. It has a welcoming vibe.The girl Jackie that runs it is very professional and hard working. She and the two guys have been there a long time. They impress me. It's always a good feeling to shop where people know and acknowledge you and where you feel welcome and safe.

Very rude sarcastic employees that like to give you an attitude. I probably had to listen to listen to 5 ot 6 smart remarks by the female team lead or manager all In 1 10 mimute visit. They must br short staffed because if I was over her she would be gone.

Rude jerk employees who act bothered by your business, and glare at you wordlessly while they ring you up...and the pregnant one almost slammed into me at the end of the aisle, yet I apologized to HER while she looked annoyed...there are too many dollar stores for me to have to be disrespected while I'm spending my money...

If I could give this store a no star I would. I went there this morning to exchange a pair of leggings I had purchased at another family dollar I had my receipt. I was told you had to return it to the same family dollar store you bought it at. I was talked to like trash and left the store crying. I had my receipt the tags was still on the leggings. The gentlemen was very rude. While there one of my employees came in there and witnesed the whole thing. Even asking the worker if it was a corporate policy and said yes. I called another store while there and was told that wasnt true. I have called corporate and waiting on them to call me back. I just am shocked at how I was treated.

This is the worst family dollar on lee highway. THEY CLOSE WHEN THEY WANT TO. the men cashiers are cool but the women cashiers need to be scheduled for several therapy sessions. Their prices be wrong. I feel like this family dollar should be renamed “family dollar the G.E.D edition” like have the G.E.D letters caddy cornered on the F of family.. I suggest you go to the family dollar closer to food city, it’s a bigger locations wider selections now that’s the diploma family dollar ?

The woman at the registrar was more interested in talking on her cell phone than she was about her customers. She never said a word to me, she just walked away . I was returning a few things and I got two other dresses so I didn't know if I owed any money or not. I stood there for a few minutes and she didn't come back so I hollered at her and ask if I was done and she just waved me on. Other than that the store was very well stocked.
