While I don’t blame the driver. He did what he was told to do, and he was very professional.
I think that Ferrell Gas needs their “counter” re-calibration. We had 22%, PAID for 60% which should have given us at least 80%. When we actually only have 72%.
When I called the office, the woman couldn’t explain to me how 22% + 60% equals 72%. She absolutely positive that it was correct, but admitted that she couldn’t explain to me how.
She told me that a general manager would phone me within a few, I thought she said days, but evidently she meant months or years?Because our delivery was 19JAN24 and we have yet to receive a call.
I have submitted a review already, but I keep receiving emails wanting another review. Nothing has changed.

We have agreement to have gas refilled when tank gets below 50% but they apparently forgot about us. We went into the last snow and ice event with something like 17%. I called REPEATEDLY trying to get them out before the snow hit but they never came. After it hit, they would not venture down our road with their heavy trucks (ironically, because of the snow and ice). Although we were getting out with our puny cars.

BUYER BEWARE! Wish I could give no stars or negative stars. I would give them a -5. In no way would I ever recommend using Ferrellgas. We ran out of gas and didn't realize while we were on vacation. It heats our hot water and heating. When we called Ferrellgas for a rush order we were told it would be more than 3 weeks, and they didn't have a rush option. I asked to escalate, but you don't get anyone local and they will not transfer you to anyone to escalate. I then asked if we could just purchase our tank as a local company would come fill it that day. They said they don't sell the tanks we had on property and to purchase a tank it would be another 2 weeks. Then we asked for permission to allow the other company to fill per discussions with the other company. They said in winter companies can with permission fill other companies tanks. We were denied. We were so angry that they could not provide any solutions to help support in cold months and they were just rude on the phone. We wanted local support, and they told me I could not talk to anyone local. That day we said cancel our account and come pick up your tank. Still awaiting pick up. I want it out of my yard. WARNING DO NOT USE FERRELLGAS COMPANY! Recommend finding a locally owned company where you can speak to the owner.

Can you give no stars? This company took our money 7 weeks ago promising gas delivery within a week. We have been so patient through excuse after excuse. We paid, but no gas for 7 weeks! This is fraudulent.

Ferrel let me run out of gas in January.I ran out 23 days after the order was placed.A senior citizen using their gas for heat and backup electricity for Oxygen was forced to buy portable propane tanks and pay double the price for heat. The service used to be outstanding, now there is no customer service!

We were clients with Ferrel. We placed an order with them after about two weeks we followed up by calling the office. The lady tried to help us but we were fed lies everyday I followed up to see when they would deliver, they said we were on that day schedule they never showed up , called again next day they said our order was canceled. We got it put back the schedule and same issue happened again later the week. I have to be honest and hope they wake up its company taking money from clients and not delivering a good service I’m very dissatisfied with Ferrel gas . You tell me a company that makes a killing with gas does not have back up when a driver is out, OMG the worst excuse I’ve ever heard. Staff in office useless confused as scrambled eggs. Go ahead and use them be prepared to be disappointed. Stop eating donuts and get your work done

I’m pissed ? After trying to get someone out here to fill our tank for a month now and they finally come out and don’t call when they arrive. The driver entered the gate without calling then filled the tank and left the gate open when he left. I live on a very busy highway with tons of semi traffic. So to not get a call and to be told he was here we had no clue to lock the dogs in the house. Needless to say our dogs where out roaming our neighbors property and thankfully weren’t in the middle of the road dead!!

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. They keep telling us they're monitoring our tank and have us on a quarterly schedule, but NEVER come to fill it up without us asking. 3 or 4 out of the last 6 winters, we have gotten down to 0% in our tank, believing they would come out to fill. RUN, don't walk away from these jokers.

THREE WEEKS! No gas, no refund, and NO EXPLANATION!I will never be using Ferrellgas again, and will never recommend them to anyone else after my most recent experience. We moved to a farm in Lookout Valley and had a 500-gallon tank installed and filled in November. It was doing well until the very cold weather in January, which unexpectedly put it to empty. I called Ferrellgas asking for an expedited delivery (even though it was a $200 charge) and was told none were available, but delivery would be guaranteed in 7 days. I have two toddlers in a house with zero heat, running on space heaters, so I agreed to pay a very high price up front to get delivery for them. Here is what happened next:-Day 5: Called and was told I was on the schedule for the next day-Day 6: Called and was told I was on the schedule for the next day-Day 7: Called and was told I was on the schedule for that day-DAY 7 NO DELIVERY-Day 8: Received an email that I would be delayed until Day 11-Day 9: Called and was told I was on the schedule for Day 11-Day 10: Called and was told I was on the schedule for Day 11-Day 11: Called and was told I was on the schedule for Day 11-DAY 11 NO DELIVERY-Day 12: Received a voicemail telling me that my "Gate was locked, so no delivery could be made." Funny thing is, WE DON'T HAVE A GATE. Neighbor does, so they clearly went to the wrong address, but didn't have the decency to call me or my husband and ask -they just ditched.-Day 12: I call back and tell them they must have gone to the incorrect address, but that I MUST be called next time if they're going to skip a delivery and continue to leave me without heat!I could go on, but you get the idea. The long story short is this: I never got a straight answer, the propane never came, and after THREE WHOLE WEEKS and a ridiculously high electricity bill from using space heaters around my toddlers to keep them safe, I escalated all the way up to finally get a refund approved -- although I was told it usually takes 10 days to get back on the credit card, it could happen in 3 due to my terrible experience. 3 days later? NO REFUND.I now have an order in with AmeriGas, and my research showed that there are the following other companies that serve Chattanooga: Suburban Propane, Chattanooga Propane, Holston Gases, and others. USE ANY OF THEM - I can't promise it will be better, but I can see no way it could be worse.

If we could give zero stars, we would. Customer Service is non existent. Can not get through to a live person. Can not get a returned call. Can not get any help on the live chat. We ordered propane 3 weeks ago. Paid for propane the day it was ordered. They provided a date for delivery... and we have yet to receive it or even an update on delivery date. Communication is needed.

I agree with the last review. If I could lower score I would. We ordered refill on propane January 8 and we were told January 23 and called again told then January 26. We have NOT received the refill still. We have called several times to tell them we are almost empty 1% for a while which we are afraid to use because of this. We are frustrated and disappointed to say the least. Need to definitely improve on customer service. It is horrible.

I gave this company a 2 nd chance. Called Jan 8 th and prepaid for propane.i was at 35% at that time. Today is Jan 30th im out of fuel and they have been nothing but rude when I called. Ohh and i was told they have no clue when my fuel will be delivered. Ohh and here is a kicker.. you ready they charge a 50 dollar fee if it drops below 10%. As soon as i can get another company to set a tank they better get this one out of my yard. Ohh and i have about 20 people that use Ferrell Gas that will be discontinuing their business.
