Outstanding service from Silas Jeffers!
I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Silas! From the moment I brought my car in, he was friendly, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done, The work was completed quickly and efficiently, and my car AC works great now! It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about the quality of their work and the satisfaction of their customers, but Silas truly goes above and beyond.
If you’re looking for someone reliable, trustworthy, and skilled, I highly recommend Silas! I’ll definitely be coming back for any future maintenance or repairs. A real gem in the auto world😊

Customer service was terrible. I was charged $200 for problems that they created. They apparently dont keep good records and they fail to listen to the customers knowledge. The Hixson and Gunbarrel branches have been terrible at trying to sell you something that you don't need also. I used to get all of my fleet maintenance and vehicle needs performed at the downtown branch and then there was a change in management. It all changed then.

Had my vehicle serviced last November. They supposedly fixed the air conditioner. Paid nearly $2000 for all work to be done including other issues. Spring 2025 when it began to get hot I tried to use my AC. It didn’t work. I called them and took my vehicle in to be checked. Was told they replaced the condenser and that now the compressor needed replaced and it will cost $1100. It was supposed to be fixed in November. Now I question if they even fixed anything. 100% do NOT recommend if you want your vehicle to actually be fixed.

We had our 2022 Subaru Forester in for an alignment and the technician scratched all four wheels. Firestone offered no solution. See pics attached.....

Took my vehicle in asking for diagnosis prior to heading out on a day trip just to make sure everything is in good running order. I was quoted 10.91 for a diagnostic, i was then handed an estimate of $5000.00 Worth of repairs on my 20yr old vehicle. As I went to leave I realized that they rotated my tires which I did not ask them to do. My tires were not worn or damaged. I only had them maybe 5 mos and had driven maybe 400 miles. There was a laundry list itemized of repairs needed including wiper blades, brake light bulb, led lights, brake job etc. My vehicle was running fine and I knew I was getting scammed but chose to get a second opinion just to prove it. I was literally searching for an honest automotive mechanic. My vehicle was running fine. I went to another smaller shop that gave me a clean bill of health on my vehicle at no charge. So it is my pleasure to report that Firestone tried to scam a female senior citizen thinking I don't know how to change a light bulb or replace wiper blades etc. Shame on them ...that $10.91 is all the money they will get from me and of course this review. Secret shopper reports Firestone..

If 0 was an option I would rate this place 0 stars.
They charged $22 to plug a tire, and they wouldn’t even put it on the car…… scammers!!!

I don't normally roast businesses. I like to think that companies are trying to do right by their customers in order to keep them. I know that I go out of my way to treat my customers well so that they come back to the business that I operate. That being said, avoid Firestone Complete Auto Care in Hixson.
I've noticed that as I get older, it's harder for me to be underneath a car, to be on my hands and knees taking off wheels, doing brakes, etc. Wife's car was starting to shake a little while she was driving, and I just didn't have the time or energy to work on them myself. She went to Firestone in Hixson and got an estimate.
Their quote for new front rotors and brake pads, plus a catastrophic failure of the rear passenger caliper was quoted at around $1,800.
Now I know enough about brakes to know that a catastrophic failure would involve fluid leaking sometimes, but I had done these brakes not that long ago and I knew that there was nothing that wrong with them.
Today, I took the wheel off and did an inspection and then there was absolutely nothing wrong with the caliper. They said that the caliber was worn down to the metal through the brake pad, but both brake pads came off and they were ready to be replaced, but there was no failure that warranted the price that they quoted.
They simply tried to take advantage of her because she was a woman. They did the front brakes for about $550, and I put new rear brake pads on for $40.
If ever an estimate seems too high, get a second opinion. Thankfully, when I was 17 years old, a good friend brought me to his home to teach me about cars and brakes, and I could never be more thankful.
And truly, spare me the cookie cutter response that you care or that you'll look into it.

Went there for brakes for my Kia Soul. Was quoted $1800 for new calipers, rotors, pads, the whole smash. Am a woman. Husband is NOT an idiot and is mechanically-inclined. Had them do the front brakes for $550. (They really needed it) Was told it'd be almost $1200 for the back because I had a frozen caliper. (Again, husband is not an idiot) He took the wheel off, twisted the caliper piston off then on (that's how it's done in my car) and replaced the back brake pads. All in all, less than $25 in parts, free labor.
Do I feel taken advantage of because I'm a woman that doesn't know about brakes? yes. If you're a woman that's not mechanically-inclined, get a second opinion before paying ANY money to these guys.
Cheers, Firestone. I WON'T be back.
