Customer care is amazing! Other banks and companies should learn how to take care of customers like First Horizon does.We first tried Rocket Mortgage, and that "rocket" blew up on the launch pad. We have EXCELLENT credit and a very low LTV, so it's absurd that in weeks and weeks the "rocket" just couldn't get it done. By STARK contrast, First Horizon communicated wonderfully, and they quickly got our mortgage DONE!First Horizon is an excellent communicator, and we felt totally informed and cared for every step of the way.And our company also used First Horizon for our banking needs, and if anything, First Horizon is even better as a commercial bank! We are super-pleased by ALL of our dealings with First Horizon. It's like going back to the old days when bankers knew you by first name and treated you like a friend!

Went to atm and tried to deposit $400 and it 1st said there was only $380, so I took out the money to make sure. It was $380, well I was like maybe I dropped a $20 on the way from where I had the money or the machine I got the money was fallible. No I then took the $380 and put it in for a deposit and it said I only put in $340, so then I took the money back out and it was $380… because obviously the machine was not reading accurate, so now I have to actually go into the bank to make a deposit in person. :-/

(Writing as a FORMER 1st Horizon / 1st TN customer . . . )* I am now with REGIONS, but had been a 1st Horizon / 1st TN customer for many years --In December of 2021, 1st Horizon began flagging ALL of my transactions -- be they large or small, local or international.This required me to call-in to reset my account and confirm that the transactions were not fraudulent (which according to 1st Horizon, they most likely were, as I received CONSTANT "fraud alerts" on my phone.)The next day, after resetting my account, the whole process would start again -- with texts to my phone, emails, and messages left on my voicemail to "Call us immediately, etc."This they did in the midst of the busy December shopping season, so ALL of my Christmas purchases (as well as gas purchased just down the street from the bank!) had to be duo-factor authenticated individually by speaking to a customer service representative.NOTE: It is my understanding that 1st Horizon is being purchased by a Canadian banking firm, and "that's the way they do things" north of the 49th parallel.NO THANK YOU -- I'll stick with an AMERICAN bank, thank you . . .

I had banked with First Horizon, or whatever name it was under, for almost 20 years. In February, 2022 the new office manager of the Ringgold Road office calls me saying she needs a copy of my tax return to verify the details on my signature card with the bank.\nI had a business as well as a personal account with the bank and at first i was a little stunned. Moved back to Tennessee and I have been having trouble with the bank that I switched to. Came back into First Tennessee and had my account setup, a debit card and out the door in less than 10 minutes. Plus the girl helping me was amazing and extremely nice.
