Absolutely insane prices. A plastic console table for $150?? Dining chairs for $50 each? A stained bench for $80??? Literally who on earth would pay that?!

Becca always has the friendliest smile and attitude. She is our favorite checkout employee of all. We always enjoy shopping at the Hixson Goodwill because of the great employees. We do find that the prices have gotten completely out of hand though. We have been shopping at this location for several years and the prices increase is insane. Yes we understand that a large percentage of the profit goes back into the organization, however, the items are donated!!! We have found so many items that are 80 - 90 percent of retail. I think you tend to forget, these are used items and not new. We saw two matching pieces of furniture. Obviously they went together. One was 59.99, the other one was 79.99! ??? I actually found an item at Home Depot cheaper than the used item on your shelf!!!

Love this goodwill! Always well stocked. Also the cashier Becca is amazing!! Super knowledgeable, helpfuk, and very kind! She made my experience all the more memorable! Plus I loved my goodies!

This Goodwill is out of touch. I’ve been here several times, hoping they were just having an off day. Pricing is insane. The concept of second hand being more accessible is a dwindling concept when shopping clearance at Target, Kohls, Old Navy, TJ Maxx etc is more affordable and NEW.
I just moved here from Nashville and they had better brands and MUCH cheaper prices. They also had $1 Sundays which would certainly help clear out this Goodwills backlog of overpriced merchandise. Reevaluate and do better.

The prices at this store are totally ridiculous. 4.00 for a plastic bracelet also the store itself was very dirty. Only one person at the checkout on the day I was there. You can't buy anything that doesn't have a price on it . Some cashiers will give it a price, other cashiers will send it with someone to be priced. It will then go back on the shelf at a later date but no one knows when.

The way that corporate executives treat their store employees and and ignore them is the reason I gave two stars i heard stories about it and I wonder why the people that work there stay there and how they do it.
They ignore people the people who work hard and for pennies being belittled and underpaid no one listens to you even though you’re what makes their pay. Giving your best,time and energy only to be shot down and ignored wanting to give input only to be shot down and shredded.
How they ever stay in business I’ll never know.

BECCA was absolutely the sweetest person I’ve ever encountered at goodwill!! She helped me and the kiddos find so many nice clothes for the up coming school year. It meant so much to me that she took the time out of her busy day to help us. I have four kids that were running around and she saw that I was stressed and really helped tremendously! I’m so thankful that she was there! She needs to be a manager with how amazing she is with customers. Will definitely be back because of her!

This store smells like a casino. It literally wreaks of cigarettes. I've never been in a store that smelled this bad. Not even an actual casino. I was in for 3 minutes and left with a migraine. The store also felt really dirty and unkempt. I know it's a thrift and 2nd hand but yuck.

(Third Post-June 12, 2024) Well, I have successfully cut Goodwiil out of my weekly shopping tour. I'm giving my business to the few Thrift Stores that are still out there serving the poor. I realize that Goodwill will never lower their prices because the middle to upper class will keep buying and keep driving prices up for you. It's a shame...
(Second Post) It saddens me that I will no longer be able to shop at Goodwill. You have raised your prices so high that the poor are no longer able to afford to buy second hand. I have been clothing myself for 40 + years and have been so happy to be able to find high end clothes and home decor. But, no more. You are catering to the middle to upper class now. (so sad)
(1st Post) Prices are ridiculously high. Stop buying from Goodwill.

I like this store is good stuff most of the time my only problem the staff is so rude to me and I suspect because I’m hispanic since I don’t see them put the faces to anybody else There’s no answer when you say something like good afternoon or have a good day they just put that rude face
