This hobby Lobby is a great place for what you need. They are always fully stocked, and running sales on things. Some things are overpriced, but other than that, the store is clean the staff are friendly, and it is a great atmosphere all around!

People in the store are helpful and friendly if you can find anyone. The cashier was extremely rude and short like she didn't want to be there. Didn't care about my lack of finding what I needed. Have to go online only to get what I need now. Sad.

I have shopped at this location many times, but I will not ever return to this location.
Each time I have been at this location I have experienced rudeness from the employees. The only thing I can think of the reason being is because either I’m really tall or because my attire is gothic. I keep to myself and have never been rude to anyone there, so I’m baffled at why I’ve been treated with such disrespect to the point of physically harming me.
I have had employees completely ignore me when I asked a question and I know they heard me, twice I have watched them try to avoid checking me out by leaving the counter when I was the next in line to check out or they tell another another customer they can check them out and ignore I was the next person, etc. This last time I was there was the final straw when an employee harshly shoved into me as I walking down the aisle and the side she hit me was where my hand was holding the shopping basket I was carrying. I was as far over as I could be in the aisle and not in the middle so she has enough room to walk past me. It hurt badly because it pinched my skin between the metal handle of the basket and made the basket jam into my side when she walked into me. There was no apology, no nothing. When I looked back at her she was standing at the end of an aisle giving me a nasty look but quickly turned and walked away. These employees are AWFUL. I was stunned. I was confused at why she did that.
Even the environment there is negative. I’ve overheard the same male employee loudly complain about his job and how much he hated it there, not caring who heard him, then I saw him another time making fun of short people by laughing with the other employees by him saying “can you imagine being short and trying to reach the shelf?” The tone was demeaning to shorter people and not sympathetic. Most of the employees have this “I hate my job” demeanor and face I’ve seen, and it’s depressing to be around. Tue environment there is very negative. It’s one thing to not like your job, but to be so vocal about it and right in n front of customers is very off-putting.
I went to the Hobby Lobby in Hixson and they were not rude to me nor made me feel uncomfortable nor made me feel horrible by how they interacted with me or treated me. I will never go to the one on Gunbarrel again.
During checkout at my last visit I was feeling so uncomfortable and so hurt at how several were so rude to me even to the point of physically hurting me I was on the verge of tears, I couldn’t understand what was so wrong with me and they made me feel like pure crap about myself. I told the cashier if she’s tell the other employees to not be so rude to customers and she just said “ooooookkkaaaay” staring at me. I didn’t think she’d care either so I just left, as I didn’t want her to see my tears anyways.
In my own personal experience, the Hobby Lobby on Gunbarrel is full of rude and disrespectful and even abusive employees.

incredibly rude management, you'd expect to feel safe in a christian business that always plays christian music but the main older white guy specifically always makes a scene when I go in over absolutely nothing. he's always yelling at somebody over something instead of deescalating the situation. take a chill pill. only giving a star because I love the older lady's at checkout, couldn't imagine how it is to work there though.
