Jr. Shipley’s crew from Trena in the office to Terry and Andrew are the best!!! They have done so much work on my car and it has been great. They treat me a female fair and I can trust them. We have used them for 20 + years. They have tire but also have a mechanic shop. Awesome place!

I had a slow leak in one specific tire
Two fun & professional guys checked all tires z (four + spare) in less than 3 min of pulling in
I highly recommend!
The admin lady is also great and kind and professional and a good communicator .

I felt like a family member from start to finish. Pricing is great, people are friendly, mechanics are knowledgeable, and their work is impeccable! They looked busy, but they worked very quickly and got my alternator replaced in about an hour.
Their parking lot is always full of cars - and for a small shop like this, that means they've earned their business! I highly recommend this mechanic and I will be a lifelong customer.

I moved to Chattanooga 1-year ago, and needed a minor car repair. I went to a local AutoZone for help, they could not accommodate me so they recommended JR Shipley's. To my surprise, JR Shipley's was the answer to my prayers. They were friendly, respectable, efficient, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. They assisted me within a few minutes, and I continue to use them for all of my automobile needs. Service is exceptional!

This is a mechanic shop that definitely has real mechanics in it. They are honest and direct, and ended up saving me from another place lying to me about needing a new $500 tire rod.
The shop could do with more space, but at the end of the day getting your car treated right is what matters. If anyone tells me something is seriously wrong with my car, J.R. Shipley's is where I'll end up, if possible.

We were visiting from out of town and had mechanical issues with our Jeep. Even though they were super busy, they got us in and replaced a coil and a plug within 30 minutes. Andrew was so helpful and professional. IF I COULD GIVE 1000 STARS I WOULD! They were absolutely wonderful.

I have been using Shipley's for years. My father was a mechanic and I had always done my own work. When I moved to Chattanooga my shop was 45 minutes away and I needed someone locally. Every vehicle that I own has been in for tires, oil changes, brakes, alignments and a host of other repairs. JR has always been fair on pricing and has done quality work. I highly recommend them! The only downside is they are almost always extremely busy but that is a testament to the quality of work and fair pricing.

As always, J R. Shipley's was great, now the mechanics talks about my old azz car, but when they had a chance to do some fake work to it and me not know any better, they didn't. In fact they informed me that my old azz car was just old and doing the best it could do, love the place. You want to be treated fairly, go there.
