Had my alignment done here recently after encountering a pothole from hell on Hixson Pike. Dropped my car off and they had it finished early in the afternoon. They also tightened up my control arm that I had replaced and got it set in better for me at a very reasonable rate.Would definitely go again for quick repairs and maintenance.

Have had my car here for 4 days, paid over $500, and they still can’t fix it. Amazing.

My vehicle broke down the night before my family & I were supposed to head home to Michigan. We had to be out of our rental the next day by 11AM & needed to be at Mammoth Caves by 3:30PM. I called Firestone first thing in the morning, explained the situation and they said they would try their best to get us up and going as quickly as possible. I had the vehicle towed there & 2.5hrs later they called & said I was all set! They were very professional & did what they said they would do. We even made it on time to our Mammoth Cave time slot! Very thankful we chose them for our emergency car care needs! Thanks Randy!

Just before closing time on an extremely cold and wet evening Randy and the team at Firestone on Market Street repaired a tire for our business van. Ten minutes earlier the tire sat flat in a client’s driveway. Randy said bring it in and we will fix it. You don’t know how much we appreciate you!

I have consistently gotten great service from this Firestone store (used to be Market Street Tire and Auto). They are easy to work with, incredibly responsive, and fast. They have also cut me some great deals on some of my repairs, which I am very thankful for. Every experience working with this store has been positive, and I truly feel they have my best interest in mind!

I have retired from a downtown company in 2013, live in Hixson and still drive to see Randy for my 3 vehicles to be serviced there.

Needed an oil change and asked them to check my air filter and a problem with my heater. I was pleasantly surprised to hear I didn't need an air filter and that the heater problem was an easy no cost fix. Thanks for the honesty. I will be back!

I have been using Market Street Tire and Auto for close to ten years or longer. My first experience and every experience with them has been positive. I have referred all my friends there as well their experience has been the same as mine. Randy has always been honest and straightforward and his rates seem fair.

I tried this place based on the reviews and that it was walking distance to where I work so I could simply drop the car off and walk back. After being charged $120 for swapping out a set of wheels and tires I will never go back.
First they charged me for a mount and balance for 4 tires ($14 per). That is ridiculous but I accepted because I was already there which was my first mistake. This was not a mount and balance, if anything it should have been a tire rotation. After walking back to work they call me to tell me they can't find the key for the wheel lug nuts. I told them I would come back and find it in the car. After walking back to the store, they told me they searched the car up and down and couldn't find the key. I asked if they looked in the side door pockets and they said yes.
I asked if I could look and they said "we already looked everywhere" so I took them at their word rather than insisting they let me in the car. Since they "had to get the car off the rack" they said we would have to order another set of lug nuts with a key. I should have asked why they couldn't use the same set they were clearly able to remove. I assumed that the shop where I'd had the wheels and hardware shipped originally a year ago had lost or not given me the key and accepted this charge as well and walked back to work.
Finally they finished the car and I walked back and got it. A couple weeks later I found the lug nut key in the side passenger door pocket where it had been all along. So yesterday I went back to this place and asked for my money back. They paid me back for the lug nuts I ordered but were defensive rather than being courteous and tried to convince me that what they did was a mount and balance. I told them I know what a mount and balance is and that was not it.
So in all, they overcharged me for a simple service, lied to me about thoroughly searching the car, kept me from searching my own car, charged me again unnecessarily, were willing to let another shop take the blame, and lied to me about overcharging, and only offered to pay me back for the unnecessary hardware. And I wasted more time walking back and forth than I would have saved just going somewhere else. If I could give zero stars I would.
